The only thing stopping Evenly Match from becoming limited or forbidden is that you need to survive the battle phase in order to play it, and if you have even one card on the field, you can't play it from your hand. Also, it doesn't help if your opponent has only 2 or 1 card.

It's a good thing this Labyrinth player didn't use the field spell to pop the Evenly match or the entire field would get banish. Context: Evenly Match makes your opponent banish cards from their side of the field until they have the same amount of cards as the controller of Evenly Match. In short Evenly Match activate your opponent has to banish cards on their side of the field until they have one card left. So if Evenly Match get destroyed as part of a chain then your opponent has to banish all cards they control.

Ah yeah Master duel, filled with Labyrnth and Kashtira players. Out of 150 archetypes there are, only 2 are being played at all times. Desperate and sad state of what Yu-gi-Oh is going through.

And this folks is why you should always run ROYAL DECREE at 3 instead of evenly matched..... Yes evenly can be acted on the hand but royal negates the effect meaning royal is a better counter to labs than evenly edit 1: I understand solemn that's why you should bait the solemn first but once solemn is out royal decree breaks the opponents board at once

I agree with u to some degree lol. but heres the thing? since master duels dont have side deck options. u would always have to main them at 3 which is nothing wrong with. also there is a trap deck. so I guess three of them is good

@@chocomilo1628 good evening to you sir, and royal decree is not to be used against everything, labs decks and trap trick decks are heavily based on the usage of trap cards as mentioned in the original comment royal is an excellent counter to labs and traptrix

Or if u don't like permanent trap negation cuz it mess up or deck just use trap stun. Turn off traps for a turn. Or main deck jinzo and jinzo returner if u're that crazy

board breaking without ending your opponent carries a lot of risk. this is why you dont put all your eggs in one basket, you leave yourself open to board breakers lol.
