You need to find local friends of all these places in Malaysia especially for smaller towns/cities like Kuantan, Kota Bahru, Ipoh, Taiping, etc. Not only you get eat at great eateries, they will tell you what the specialities of these places. Kuantan is famous for its salted fish and dried seafood, although many years back a great fire burnt down a whole stretch of shophouses selling these produce.

Teluk Cempedak looks like a really nice place, even has local bus access...too bad I'm leaving Kuantan tomorrow and won't get to visit it. thanks for sharing

Silk air used to fly to KUA in the 90s i believe..glad to see tht now the airport still hv intrnational flight service

I got giddy watching the video of the artistic back alley. Moving your camera back and forth and at that crazy speed seems like you aren't really interested in the attraction. Otherwise, a good, albeit very short tour of Kuantan.

The reason why I sped up the speed was because I didn’t want to take too much time of the viewers :) cos I walked really slow hahaha! ;) but noted on your feedback that you would like to really enjoy and experience the artistic back alley! :) it’s a very nice attraction.
