It is a virus even if you dont realize it. just open your taskmanager and watch for "ReasonLabs" and plenty programs of it that run in the backround of your PC. I installed it yesterday and had 1 hour suffer to delete this bs. I tried to close the softwares but it restarts always and some of them tell me "ive no rights to close it". I still managed to close these by using details in taskmanager and unbind/shut down from there. after i found the folder but i couldn't delete it not even with admin cmd because programs are not closed (ofc because they restart and also you need software to detect which programs run from "ReasonLabs" to find ALL programms). My solution was to restart windows in safemode and delete the folder in the registry. There are multiple reddit comments on "ReasonLabs" and how they got it after installing CheatEngine 7.5

@@Disxs yeah and you can choose not to install them. there was 2 third party programs it offered all you need to do is just decline them. if you chose to install them than you should get the adware and spyware because your dumb and accepted random software that doesnt have to be verified by the license like cheat engine has to be. if you would look at the programs that it offers they are usually software that you would need to buy so it being offered for free is suspicious so i wouldnt download them ad they are most likely adware/spyware/trojans..etc. also most antivirus software will tag cheat engine as a virus because of how it works. cheat engine isnt a virus so this can be ignored.

yeah which is exactly what a trojan does, it's called not understanding technology

@@CodeHiiro a trojan doesn't bother modifying other apps memory. it steals all the data it can then possibly keylogs and gives remote access to your computer. cheat engine doesn't even need to be run as administrator.
