Hi PadelDrivers, today we bring you a new video that will change your padel forever. We all have had a hard time at the beginning of our padel journey. We will cover the most common mistakes we see everyday in our padel cub (from beginners to advanced players) and the best tips to avoid these errors.

Excellent content! love to see quality videos in English too :). Question, I've seen you are grabbing your racket almost from the bottom, is that correct?

Thanks Salva 🙌 I grab it quite low yes, but it is personal preference. The lower you grab it the higher the momentum you can generate, so more power (specially for overheads). Some pros do this and some others grab it a little bit higher up, so you will have to find what works better for you!

@@padeldriver thanks for your answer! Actually I do the same, and as a consequence of that, I have to play with light raquets (360gr)... it took me a while to understand why rest of people could play with heavier rackets until I realised that they were grabbing it much higher :D

thought the same given the acceleration and way the racket ends/pathing, but I guess if you play to the middle or side glass and you're quick enough to comfortably get back to your net position then you could pull it off. Well-explained in a short format. Interesting to see coaching differences back in the UK/between coaches.

yeap...your best shot is as good as your early prep and focus following the ball and plan it while just crossed the net onto your side or even earlier if you can read that ball opposant's racket and body movement.

Es una pala exigente, sólo la recomendaría a jugadores avanzados. Si te la quieres comprar me iría a la del año pasado, bastante más barata y la única diferencia es el color.

Guys hello, i am new padel player and i bought the nox at10 pro cup coorp genius, my racket is brand new i played only 3 games with it, i want to ask something and explain me if is normal or not, when i put a little bit pressure on the racket with my fingers i feel the racket start squeezing, not at middle of the racket but more at the edge, is this normal? Hey, where is the correct point of impact on the usual forehand without glass usage? Is it somewhere in rhe middle of your body or infront? Or depends on direction like in volleys? It is weird but different coaches answer this different. In logic if you have a continental grip and playing straight direction the correct point of impact should be somewhere i nthe middle of your body otherwise you will start bending your wrist to go more in front point of impact.

slightly in front of your centre providing the correct rotation (which few players do) a good rule of thumb is level with your front knee. If you imagine that the holes of the racquet are eyes, they need to be looking in the direction you want to place the ball.

Excellent video. The problem with padel is cost. My local tennis club costs £250 a year. My local panel club is £200 a month. I might play padel when I am 75 and can’t play tennis singles anymore but not before.
