I like how, at the end, after they all die. There's no solemn message, there's no speech, there's no victory or defeat. There's just the piano, and the uncomfortable silence. The cost of what has happened. No one is going over to joke about nicknames, no regular is coming back to that table for Tiffany. No young adult is going to sit on that dock. It doesn't need words, or even powerful music. People with their own mistakes, habits, impressions upon this world, now quantified to nothing more than a number on a toll. And for the time they did fight, they had to endure something no man, woman or child could truly comprehend. Instead of laughing over that table that brought joy, ordering that coffee that alone brought comfort, sitting on that dock that brought tranquility. There's nothing. And their abscence, makes everything. Feel. Empty. Brilliantly done. This is why I subscribed.

centaura is such a good game, mainly for the reason that you aren't important. you are just a cog in the murder machine that is war, with only one saying: "only the dead have seen the end of war." it has such a deep message, it makes you feel like you're actually participating in a war against 2 countries. the death counter at the end of every mission really makes you reflect on what just happened, because those massive death tolls are real things. thousands and even millions are killed in war and this game represents that perfectly with how easy it is to get mowed down, burnt alive, or just plain stabbed to death. because that's how it happens, you could be alive and well and the next second you just aren't

Another thing that I really like is how realistic it is when it comes to squad sized battles, there are few troops that are the most combat effective while others are less so, taking cover and such.

All of this, and the environment, thousands of gunshots, endless artillery volleys, men screaming. Seeing fellow soldiers turn into fine colored rain the moment an artillery shell hits. One instantly dies as a punishment for peeking too much. Epic Advancements with men screaming right after the officer blows their whistle. There has been NO game that made me feel like im in a real war, made me feel like a hopeless traumatized soldier in the midst of a hell

This hit me in the gut a little bit, as I am just about done with my OSUT training for the US Army. Never thought I would be able to do it, but I am here and I know what I got myself into. I am a 12b and am well aware if the US were to ever get into war, I'm going to most likely be one of the first to die, whether it's in a combat gunfight or mishap explosives. I have tremendous respect for the soldiers that have fallen for this country and hope to be able to do even perform a fraction of the heroism they showed. Always place the mission first, never accept defeat, never quit, never leave a fallen comrade. Love your family and make it obvious. Have fun and enjoy life, no matter the circumstances you're in. And remember, this may be a produced work of art, but it is all too real. God bless you all.

Isn’t 12B combat engineers, don’t engineers build fortifications and do maintenance and whatnot? (This is a genuine question as I don’t know much about the army.)
@ashtonplatt66026 ай бұрын
Yes, you are right, it is combat engineer. And yes, we can and will do that, as that is part of our job. But, the thing is, we usually do that in a combat zone, sometimes even while combat might be happening. So by default, we're probably going to be in combat and in danger often. Not only that, but 12b is tasked with the job of "clearing the way". Say there's some c-wire (pretty sharp and just bad if yknow what I mean) and it's blocking a path. We would be tasked with disposing of that c-wire, whether it's stealthily cutting it, or blowing it the hell up with a bangalore. Usually, we're also tasked with clearing minefields so other can pass through. Not everyone does or will do that part, but it is something someone WILL have to do, and that makes it very dangerous. I also do believe my drill sergeants told us that our lifespan in combat (at least as the one who clears everything first) is less than 30 seconds, which is a pretty low. I didn't know a lot of this stuff before I went in. These are all things I learnt with my OSUT training. The internet really doesn't give you the whole story or complete job of some MOS's, so I understand the question and I hope this helped out at least a little. I also haven't even been in that long, so keep that in mind.
@carbonshere6 ай бұрын

Their deaths weren’t poetic and drawn-out, they were filled with terror and sudden. Maybe that was the best fate for them, rather than living in eternal suffering from the loss of their fellow soldiers. Requiesce in pace.

One thing I do really love is how Nobody left the south Corvus war in the right Cetus was the reason behind the whole thing, having basically screwed Corvus over in their seizure of south Corvus Corvus, while totally in the right to invade, turned to committing several warcrimes during the war, like gas attacks. And of course there is Antares, who exploited a conflict between its neighbors for its ruler’s own imperialistic goals

Well-written dialogues, an understandable plot with a beginning and an end, sound effects, musical accompaniment. All this wonderful conveys all the horror and despair of that time. I was most impressed by the finale itself, namely the death of all the heroes. Each of them is a separate person with their own characters and appearance, united by one thing - the war. Throughout the short film, all the horrors of war and the fact that there is nothing romantic about it are shown. Truly incredible voice acting here, you got some really nice people working on this. I would love an opportunity to voice act like this honestly, it seems like so much fun.

It was perfect, speechs, acting, scenes. It gives an idea of what soldier of WWII went through…The fact that all the protagonists died is well scripted because it helps to reminds us that many of the soldiers that went fighting didn’t come back home.

Rats this is a really question now, what's up with all this cinematic expertises? You are doing it so god damn well, it's overwhelming the ambient that you make in every video, giving it a deserve seriousness when it's need it. Don't know what else to say, but that your are underrated, but at the same time doing so greatful videos every single time. You deserve so much in the page. And I know you know it too.
