I love watching this, so happy I found it. I watch Wagon Train everyday just to see him. He appeared in 5 episodes of Alfred Hitchcock Presents if you like AH.

I loved this show. There's nothing like it today, that's for sure. The Westerns were such a part of my growing up. It was a time that can't be duplicated and I sure miss those days.

I too had the honor of meeting him backstage on Broadway's 110 In the Shade. At age 11 I had such a crush on him. I wrote I was coming to the play and he wrote me back inviting my mom and I backstage after the performance.

I was always a fan of Wagon Train and they are still showing reruns that I get everyday. Great acting by Robert Horton on the show and I am delighted to see what a good man he was in real life. He lived a wonderful life and living into his 90's was a blessing for those who were his friends. I am 76 currently and hope to live that long as my health holds up for me. His comment to his mother "You look wonderful" could not have been a better comment. Thank you for posting this tribute to him.

Me too! Wagon Train had such great story plots. He was a great actor and another favorite followed him, Robert Fuller. Also 68. I think I appreciate the old westerns more today.

So many lovely memories of sitting round our 12 inch black and white telly on Monday evenings in the late fifties with my mom, nan and aunt to watch Wagon Train. For a young lad Flint Mcollough was a hero and how good it is to see that he seemed to be a genuinely lovely man. Thanks for the memories and RIP Robert.

Amazing in those days to have a black woman that took care of this dude and you can tell he love her. You can’t tell me this racist bullshit time that we living in can’t be fixed. God is good all the time. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

He was such a handsome and kind man. I loved it when he said, "Mother, you look magnificent". What a wonderful and loving son he was. I had a crush on him when I was younger and I saw him in Portobello Road, London. I was over the moon. I've been watching the re-runs of Wagon Train, but only the ones with him in it. He was incredibly sexy too.

AM relatively new fan of Robert Horton from Wagon Train, and other appearances. What a multi-talented "delicious hunk"!!! Unfortunately, didn't get 2 c much of u in color, so I didn't really c your red hair, or the color of your eyes, but, no worries. Your talent speaks 4 u and itself!!! Not always easy 2 find an episode of "Wagon Train" with u in it, but when I DO get 1, U R "my date" 4 the 1 or 2 hours that I'm fortunate 2 b able 2 see you. VERY SADDENED 2 HEAR OF YOUR PASSING!!! WHAT A LONG, GREAT LIFE U HAD!!! R I P, AND THANK U 4 EVERYTHING!!! ILY!!!
