You would be surprised how often the song writer’s version sounds better than the recording artist. I used to date a songwriter who has hit top ten numerous times and written for very famous people. He would send me the recordings long before the artist records them, and I still listen to those versions because they are just so much better than the song everyone knows. Its a shame they don’t get the credit they deserve.

I am actually concerned should I say that Megan is becoming a gimickey song writer and this is masking her talent. I feel whenever there is a trend she jumps on it or her record label is putting her in a trend only box writer. Yes they are catchy songs but I feel she deserves to write more meaningful songs that will stand the test of time.
