He's trying to play with modded jokers and make content, not run the same garbage everyone has seen many times. i think a lot of that multiplier is coming from the fact that he’s using the ghost deck, i can’t imagine it would get anywhere near as high when playing with the other decks. i do agree that changing it do +.5x could be a reasonable addendum though.

@@itsikpix5825 true. I didnt take that into account. Still though, like you said a .5 would still be adequate. Especially because trick or treat starts counting from the start of the run like the one which grows from playing tarot cards, and not like lucky cat. The two most realistic nerfs are either nerf to .5 per spectral, or make it only go up in mult after purchase

It's fine, the biggest issue is how people play. Some will abuse and play around certain mechanics and absolutely have zero issue. While other players will just use whatever they want. They don't follow meta strats, and usually just play how they want to. (usually inefficient but they enjoy it). Nerfing everything based on meta/streamer strats just makes the game trash. IMHO

@@charlespanache7047 dude, single empress of heirophant makes it as strong as cloud nine or gold joker rn. Its definitely too strong when a single tarot makes it that strong

​@@Homeless_Potato43 yeah ngl thought there was quite a bit of suboptimal play towards the end + some bad luck, like I can't tell for sure but i think he couldve saved a lot of breaks by playing something like 3 or 4 of a kind for quite a while along with him selling tarot cards that would've slightly increased his odds/using emperor when he had a death in hand making it impossible to draw again plus a lot of rounds with low roll counts but it's whatever probably end around the same spot even with optimizations just feel like I'm personally invested when a run starts popping a bit

There’s a challenge mode called fragile where you have a deck of nothing but glass and you’re stuck with two eternal oops all sixes so no matter what you play, every card breaks.

retriggers don’t effect the chance of glass cards breaking btw, it’s always a 1/4. you’re right about the copy part though.

that really seems like a hindsight thing rather than a misplay. obviously thinning the deck is almost always good, but it’s not like skootie knew the idol was coming, let alone that the run was going to get to a point where it’d be necessary.

@@Seahawksboi big disagree. 99% of runs never make it to $1,000 dollars, and rolling the voucher that literally does nothing if you don’t meet that requirement is a huge feels bad for those runs. some vouchers are better than others obviously, but either than blank which has a good reason to be an exception, they all at least do something every time you buy them.
