I agree, I’m glad they are getting some of the spotlight. They can make serious power for a stock NA motor. I can’t wait to see someone modify the 2.5t vr6. China gets it in their SUV’s and it’s the only petrol turbocharged vr6 vag ever made.

Recently? These motors have been known by many that there was something special about them since they were introduced. My buddy swapped one into a mk2 jetty back in the late 90s and I've been hooked ever since. Def one of the best sounding N/A 6 cylinders IMO. Same motor made something like 500whp on stock internals. And that was the first 12v version. Just stout motors

V6 engines sound like crap, every last one. VR6, sound rad. Inline-6 sound rad. Flat-6 sound rad. I hate V6 and how ubiquitous they are everywhere. Nissan GT-R? Big mistake going V6. Newer Audi SC and turbo V6? Sound terrible.

@@exothermal.sprocket sounds like you got personal beef with v6 engines 🤣. Have to disagree to mate. F type v6, st200 v6, lotus exige, 370z, alfa busso v6, alfa quadrifoglio, nsx, stratos, 3000gt. Just to name a few that sound sickk!

@@kyblckwd246 They do sound sick. Terminally. Any straight-6 sounds loads better. Any crossplane V8 sounds better. Any flat-6 sounds better. Any inline-5 sounds better. Even a straight-3 sounds much better, so long as it's a motorcycle.
