The prononciation in Spanish for example to this alphabet "j" in the beginning of this type of name , you don't find it like in English or French language as you know , the Spanish people don't say the "j" alphabet like in English or French for this type of name ect... They don't say "j" in the beginning for "Julia" for example, they use alphabet like "kh" in the beginning for name like "Julia" or "Julio, or" jeminez" for example, or the player of real Madrid "carvajal" for example, this letter "j" the Spanish people tongue they say it like "kh", or "Emre khan" for example, the" kh " pronontiation in Arabic or Spanish or Germany ect... Another alphabet ect... They have the alphabet " j" in Arabic of course , and they have "j" like "kh" another alphabet too as I say to you like the name "Julia" or "jemenez" in Spanish the "j" prononciation in Spanish in the beginning, , staff like that, you traine your tongue about this type of alphabet you find them In Arabic language ect... , three or four alphabet exists in Arabic you don't find them in English language or French ect...added the others alphabet exists in English or French ect... ,and it becomes easy, Arab is logic language when you understand the structure

Textbook Arabic (Fus-ha) is a completely different language from the so-called Arabic 'dialects' which are spokemn. Fus-ha is never spoken by anyone, so it must be artificially created. Unfortunately the spoken Arabic is not taught in the schools.
@HassanIQ777 Жыл бұрын
@@vicmath1005lmao so it's like this if you're native Arabic they teach you Fus-ha ... if you're not native they should teach you a specific dialect (i prefer Saudi or Egyptian because everyone understands them)
@vicmath1005 Жыл бұрын
@@HassanIQ777 Yes. For the non-natives who want to learn how to speak, Fus-ha is quite out-of-place. Sadly, the non-natives do not know this. Think of Fus-ha being Latin, and the 'dialects' being English, Swedish and German. Fus-ha is a dry, humorless language. Saudi has several dialects. The one spoken in Jeddah/Hijaz is a good one to learn. Egyptian (Cairene) is the best one as everyone understand it.
@77coast Жыл бұрын
@@vicmath1005 You use latin and languages descended from it as a comparison, but proceed to only list Germanic languages...
@vicmath1005 Жыл бұрын
@@77coast Not a great comparison on my part. But the point is, there are many living languages in the Arab region which are spoken by people. Arabs like to call them 'dialects'. The formal Arabic (Fus-ha), however, is not a spoken language. It functions as as a medium for written communication. The news readers use it as well. What is odd is that when a non-Arab wants to learn Arabic, every Arab points to the "non-spoken" Fus-ha.

For all of you guys who are saying that as soon as the Korean dude started speaking Arabic the reporter’s demeanor changed and that he lost the “prejudice” that he had, I have a few things to say in response. 1. Everybody finds it cool when someone speaks their language especially if it’s from a country where you least expected it. 2. The reporter is not fluent in English and he struggles a tiny bit with it. 3. What really made the reporter shook is that he was doing some unique Qatari culture things such as going to a farm “farms over there are different, I don’t really know how to describe it” and had camel milk, some unique Arabic foods for breakfast and so on so of course he’d be impressed. 4. He was nice to him from the beginning it was just the language/cultural barrier, there are a bunch of other interviews with Brazilian fans and others and he was so sweet with them as well, he also stated that he’s struggling a bit because of the language barrier. So yeah please don’t be so fast to judge the dude is nice he was just too focused on what he’s going to say because of the language barrier.

Qataris aren’t really Qatari. Don’t forget, the English owned that land and they allowed others to take it over, forfeiting the rich oil and gas deposits. Recolonisation is the best way to save Qatar from itself. In 50 years when the oil dries up, Qatar will wish the Crown still protected them!
@Me-iy9cp10 ай бұрын
@@vitesse_arnhem Okay but wtf does that have to do with what I commented? That’s the dumbest and most ignorant thing I’ve ever heard. You are so jealous and it shows. Imagine if someone from Qatar sees your comment, their gonna laugh their ass of at you. The brits( in the past ) colonized half the world and caused nothing but trouble. These people got their independence and they earned it. I imagine that they had suffered a lot to reach that point. So it’s really ignorant of you to say that they need to get recolonized and that Qatari people aren’t Qatari. Qatar is a real country and any person who has the Qatari residentship is Qatari. Get. over. it. Do you know how much of the UK and other countries are owned by Qatar as an investment? It always puts such a big smile on my face when I see moments like this between people of different cultures. :) When you take time out of your life to learn another language, and then come across someone who speaks that language as their mother tongue and they find out you speak it.. the look of delight on their face is the absolute best. :D

There is a verse in the Holy Qur’an that says: “And We made you into peoples and tribes to know each other.”And the most honorable of you in the sight of God is the most pious of you. God made us different peoples and tribes so that we could get to know each other, and He told us that the best of us is the one who has good morals.

I always love to see someone that can speak a lot of different languages and can understand when people talk back to them. Amazing. How I wish I can really take all the language in my brain. My brain cannot remember. I used to learn Arabic for many years, 5 years, in my secondary school but I just got C in my final exam. I can't remember.

When i was in the military i was stationed at pearl harbor and we would often get buses full of japanese tour groups, i took the time to learn how to say welcome and good morning and they would often get out of their seats, wave at me, smiling and thanking me, it was so precious to see their reactions

Someone going the extra mile to learn how to speak your language is a sign of great respect. If the 15 year old me knew what I know now, I would have learnt as many languages as I can then.
