Is it a good laptop for video editing in 2022?
If you are just using it for simple video editing, then yes. I used Adobe Premiere Pro on this laptop and it ran without any issues. I was able to edit single track 4K videos without any lag and on full resolution. However, it might not be the best if you plan on editing multiple 4K videos layered on top of each other. Also, I would not suggest this laptop if you plan on using multiple 3d effects or heavy 3rd party transitions. As long as you use in-built premiere pro native effects or transitions, you should be fine.
Is it a good laptop for developers or coders or for coding in 2022?
For most average coding, sure. 16 gigs of RAM coupled with Core i7 (preferably 1260P) would be sufficient for most coders out there. Unless you are shuffling between virtual machines and running on virtual environments that demand high RAM usage, in that case, you could look at the core i9 variant with 32 GB RAM or look for another laptop.
Can the Zenbook 14 work for photoshop graphic designers or illustrators using Adobe Illustrator?
Absolutely.
Can the Zenbook 14 2022 run multiple apps and many chrome tabs without slowing down?
Yes. In my testing, I was able to launch apps very quickly and switch between them without facing any slow down. I was able to run more than 15 chrome tabs without any issue while still be able to switch from chrome to powerpoint and to word. I could even keep Adobe Photoshop open as an app and browse the internet, listen to music and work on powerpoint at the same time without any fuss.. Of course, at that moment, the fans started to rev up a bit to dissipate the heat - but that's expected given the small form factor.
Is the Zenbook 2022 value for money?
In the current market scenario (as of today on May 12, 2022), laptops in general are expensive. However, on average, the Zenbook 14 - for its design, specs and performance offers quite a lot at a very competitive price point.
