Tropicana Las Vegas is permanently closed. This weekend they’re liquidating everything while the resort is actively demolished. In what is essentially the world’s largest garage sale, you can grab historic furniture and fixtures from this iconic hotel but the prices seem to be a mixed bag ranging from crazy to basically free. I wouldn’t want any of that heavily-used stuff. Can’t imagine how many people have used that furniture over the years. Can get a brand new couch for that price.

Girl I went, they charged the $20 per person. You get back 25 or 100 if you fill up everything in a truck. I know she doesn’t look at the KZfaq comments but that’s just misleading

OMG I used to gamble wearing a sport coat and glasses in 1985 there...I met two girls from Oklahoma who tried to take advantage of me in the swimming pool...Great times from a great place to spend christmas vacation with the parents. hahaha

Nobody that actually knew what the inside of the Tropicana looked like would be telling people to go grab things from it's demolition. This lady seriously gives the most consistently bad advice on Vegas I've ever seen. Must not have been born here.
