Laylatul barat is like any other night. Keeping fast or praying specifically on this night is not proven from any sahih Hadith. It is mentioned in some of the weak Hadith but the consensus of scholars have the opinion that specifying this night and doing special worship on this night is not preferred. A Muslim should pray like he does on every night nothing special has to be done

As Salamu Allaikum. I hope you will be doing good. I have a request to pray for my sister, your sister and the sister of whole mankind through Islam and humanity, Dr. Aafia Siddiqui. Who is serving 86 years of imprisonment in prison of Texas. She was kidnaped in 2003 from Karachi, Pakistan by US, and then in 2010 or 2009 they took her to USA, when her age was 36 they gave her 86 years of sentence and despite they knew, the judge himself knew that she is innocent. Now it is been 20 years that she is far away from her children from her family. In June 2023 her sister met her in that prison in FMC, and her sister says '' that she asked about her youngest child who was 6months old at the time of her kidnapping and he is missing until now, then she asked about her mother'', she was not aware of her mother that she has died a year ago. So can you please pray for her the whole world knows that she is innocent. Thatnk you.

Yeah bro he said science is a fitnah in the sense that it is replacing Allah and his Messenger. For example, whenever a non muslim asks Muslims the reason why they don't eat pork. They say because it has bacteria in it and and and... But they don't say 'because Allah said so' So his question is if science had not found the disadvantages of eating pork. Would you eat it? Is Allah's commandment not important? Won't you carry out a command of Allah SWT until you find the science behind it? So if you take it from this angle it is a biiiiiiig fitnah. If science had merely meant knowledge for our ummah then he wouldn't have called it a fitnah.

İ got a question if you are praying sunnat Salah in the masjid while praying somebody just stand beside you thinking that you are praying fard Salah. And while you are praying sunnat Salah what will you do at that moment

you have to stay with the 2 rakat you are praying of laylat al masjid and the brother that joined you or the sister that joined her sister can join your prayer. the rakat that are in djamaah will be counted and rewarded as prayer in congregation and when the imam stops at his second rakat the person that joined has to continue the person to complete his fard salat on his her own. barakallahu feek. may Allah ﷻ accept all our prayers, ٱللَّٰهُمَّ آمين رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ

I don't like the sentence ' science is fitna' because it was science that brought me here and it was science that showed me his signs and then it was science that i first read in the Quran, and the Islamic scientific scholars.... science is not fitna.. while Quran is a law, science is a theory, science might change and we change our understanding according to that, while Quran never changes, it's a fact.. secondly I don't like the way he says ' don't think, don't ask for reason' while Quran itself asks us to think, to ponder and go deeper and find more signs and study the worlds he's created for us.... nah, ain't happy with this lecture

Agree 100% I think lots of non-science people are scared because they don’t understand the fundamentals of it, and that it’s supposed to be a methodology to study and understand a little of Allahs creation (as He instructed in Quran) but it’s gets perverted into being instead a philosophic theology of science vs God (mostly by people with zero understanding of anything scientific who think we already have it all figured out when in reality we know less than 1%)

The message was overall good but I didn’t agree with a few of his points or maybe how they were conveyed - for instance, science is not a fitnah. It’s the opposite. Allah says study the world because you will be left speechless at his creation (as a molecular and genetic specialist it’s true) it’s only fitnah if your so ignorant you don’t know what science is (a methodology to strictly study the physical world as Allah created it) and turn it into something else (a philosophy, or belief system). But again. It’s confusing for some and Devine reminders for others. So it’s important to understand the fundamentals of anything you say you believe and hence Allah says he guides whom He wills while others fall into greater and greater confusion

I partially agree. Perhaps it is a reference to the Science vs God debate that pervaded the modern era as we evolved. Science appears to hold satisfying answers and therefore seemingly becomes more attractive than faith. We know this is not true, science is a mere explanation of Gods design. Allah is above human explanation, He is not in need of us. Science *may* become fitnah, perhaps, if we remove the submission to Allah in replacement for scientific explanation. But it is true. Allah did not explain so we could discover and expand our faith. Amazing. Perhaps people are becoming lost in science now. They feel it is becoming more attractive and more conclusive. And thus he declares it as fitnah as it expels you from reliance on Allah… and would therefore, bring about distress and internal struggle.

Why does he repeat the same thing so many times. Alhamdulillah he speaks good and may Allah SWT bless him for his work. But why yell? Why is he asking rhetorical question every other sentence? Give a lecture brother, and get to the point. Mufti Menk for example talks very smooth and straight to the point. This guys just always yells. I swear i want to listen but genuinely it hurts my head.
