Brick Bending

Brick Bending

3 жыл бұрын

This build is incredibly simple for how magical it is, and is my most popular build by a wide margin across all platforms. I call it the 'Waving Square', and the LEGO color is medium lavender. Hence it just gets called the purple waving square. : )
How to support Brick Bending:
- Follow me for free updates, or consider a support tier: / brickbending
- Buy a DIY kit: wlwyb.com/shop/

Total piece count: 685
Breakdown (in plates): 1x8 (480), 1x6 (80), 1x4 (80), 1x2 (39), 1x1 (6)

When I was 6 years old at a friend's house we played with his "Technic" LEGO (at the time for kids from 10 years and up, I think). Having never heard of such device (we were small kids) we invented a machine with gears of different sizes that could puncture holes in a strip of paper. By switching gears with some levers we could alter the pattern of holes. We then created a code language that we could write secret messages with this machine. 9 years later in 1983 when they taught us about computers in school the basics were so easy to understand. LEGO is much more than merely a toy, it can be very educative.
