This is unrelated but I can't find a video on it. Can you see if killing Zogres/Skogre and looting the chest is worth it for prayer xp when using the bones from kills and the coffin. I feel like it might be better xp then dragon kills but with less loot.

Heres an Idea for a "Then We Fight" you and link have to collect and bank the most unique(different) items you can within a set amount of time. At the end of the time limit you roll the loadout randomizer for how many different items you collected. Either new accounts or existing could be used. Thanks for the awesome videos!! 🙂

Alright so i can kinda explain it a bit. It is very similar to the slayer xp credit from partner slayer which if the other player hit the npc at the same time as the player, you got half the slayer xp as well. In this case you hit the player at the same time as the Npc, triggering the kill credit.

So my retribution is “another player” and since I’m the only person attacking it the credit goes to me, even though I hit a 0?

@@Rargh Regardless it is very strange. This is the reason Jagex got rid of partner slayer was cause even though a player hit a 0, they still got kill credit as long as it is the same tick as damage. So when you hit the player a 0 the same time they took damage from the monster or the chest it registered as the last player who got the hit. Even though that hit was a 0. Guides use to exist which accounts that could only hit 0 would train slayer by getting the last 0 as the other player hit it as well. They used the whip like thing that had the same animation as the whip. They would both attack at the exact same tick even though the defence tank only could hit 0s. The defence tank would still get partial slayer experience. In this case it is treating you hitting a 0 the same tick as the rogues as partial damage. Since nobody else has any damage to that bot, your the only one left to get the credit. Very Strange interaction, but it makes sense because it is very similar to the defence tank method. Not many videos exist on it and it is from years ago now. This is information from Partner slayer, which hasn't existed in a long time. I was hoping to make a snowflake defence build but they removed partner slayer before i could do it. Only reason I know this information, which is useless but I remember it.

I think it's giving you credit for kills where you hit your 0 on the same tick that the rogues deal damage - or maybe when you hit the 0 on the last tick

idk if you figured it out coz i paused the video but the reason you were getting keys sometimes and not others is because some of those 0s are hits where youre rolling 0 damage because of the negative strength (like how you can roll a 0 dwh spec and it still procs because it hit) but most of them will just be 0s because you miss completely due to the -100 accuracy, if you can increase your accuracy without increasing your strength youd get kills more consistently

Maybe has something to do with the fact that a 0 can still count as a hit? This happens when the accuracy roll is registers as a hit, but the damage roll registers as a 0. Anyways Rargh, your original video ideas are always interesting. Even though they don't do as well as Then We Fight, I hope you keep doing them.

looks like the same method in which skillers use to train slayer. u have to hit ur 0 at the same time as them dying to receive "contribution" towards the kill. for slayer this means half the slay xp but for this since no other player is doing the damage it gives you a key.
