Clips from 1995's chinese drama: This Life This Generation (Jin Sheng Jin Shi). starring Ma Jing Tao
the first 2 minutes or so of this vid are some scenes from the series, which i've edited, taken from Sina.com. the rest of it is the orginal intro of the series.
This brings back lots of childhood memories to me. ^^

I love the actor and the storyline.. I love the actor since drama green green grass by the river (1995). If i'm not mistaken he is the same actor

@@mel859 yup. I DO remember. This Life This Generation was aired in Q1 1997, at TV3, 7 pm, slot Jade Drama. It came right after Kung Fu Kid series. Yeah, that's start of my obsession in Chinese series. My family used to watch Malay Spektra series (Budak Bijak, Jaguh-Jaguh (Eizlan Yusof muda2 😅), Berarak Memori Jingga, etc) before that. But during that year's (1997) Ramadhan, we changed the norm and watched TV3's Kung Fu Kid instead. After that, TV3 showed This Life This Generation. Initially, I didn't really bother bout this drama, because being a fan of martial arts theme, it didn't entice me as much as Kung Fu Kid. It was my elder Bro and my Mom who influenced me to watch this series. He said the heroine is cute. Haha.

@@mel859 So, as per my bro's recommendation, I started to watch TLTG. Hmm, okay. Days passed by and I finally "terjebak". 😄. Admittedly, the storyline is good. Theme song is superb. Yupp, you're right, the actor also played Green Green Grass by the River. (Name is Ma Jin Tao). But sadly, I "missed" that series, because it was definitely aired in 1995 or 96, BEFORE I started to appreciate Chinese series. Lol. Btw, if u love these two series, then I presume, you also like "Snow", "Princess Xin Yue Ge Ge", and possibly, "The Good Old Days"? 😃

don dean, it brings back sweet old memories to anyone that had seen the whole episodes. i remember watching this series exactly 10 yrs ago. my bro reckoned me to watch it. he even recorded the opening credits in a video tape... =)

lol. i know who's ma jing tao. really? he likes to shout out in other series? well, i had watched this life this generation, snow and the good old days. i did notice he likes to shout out in snow. but maybe becoz of the character he played?
