I don't own one but as far as I know you can make your own sound files that play depending on what color you want the saber to be, so you could use a cool lightsaber noise depending on which one you want, but for a lot of people the presets are easiest because they're already there

That’s just the lightsaber announcing the font change. You can change fonts for the lightsaber for what character you want to play. Some people make it say the character’s name or sounds/lines from the movies, like Darth Vader breathing before it turns red or in this case, Luke Skywalker.

Dunno for sure but my best guess would be that the rainbow is *probably* caused by the camera. For example point your phone camera at LED lights and odds are it'll make a bunch of lines on your screen or just look weird in general.
