Thanks for all the likes and support on the horror games lately! Means the world to me fam. Also just a heads up there are no jump scares in this video. With that being said this game made me feel a lot of anxiety for some reason which made me get sick during it. Jump scare games don't really bother me that much but this really got me because it's endless dread. Never had this happen before so I guess I have a fear of liminal spaces now.

You’re thinking of aerated water, Brad. It has air constantly pumped into it (most often for water treatment). The air lowers the density of water below that of the human body, unlike normal water. Instead of floating, you sink.

This is absolutely my favourite kind of thing. It takes so much more intelligence to build a game like this then to build a traditional horror game. This game does not supply the terror; instead it creates an environment in which your minds own can bloom.

You can sit in the chairs. When you do, all the noises intensify just like when you stop walking in real life. That’s sheer genius.

To me, this game is what would happened if we got transported into M. C. Escher's mind. I find the game aesthetics to be very similar to his art, especially his "Relativity" and "Waterfall" paintings. I can't help but see some of Escher favorite thematics (upside down walls, doors and ladders, water, etc.) in this game.

Not a lot of folks would publicly admit to how seriously it can affect you mentally and physically, and I think it's really positive to show others it's okay to talk about and a normal part of being human. Your feeling of sickness is almost certainly caused by the motion shown when you walk or move the camera around. I had the same issue with Dead Space, and was never able to play more than 5 min of it. But watching it played by someone else, like this game, is fine for me. I will say the motion of the view when walking and even looking around is amazingly smooth, and I'd love to see more games try to get to this level. Closer to how your eyes see things than the jerkiness of a mouse.
