Maaan, I loved the first Helldivers, it was super fun. It's less of a straight horde shooter though, you get a set of objectives to complete on a map then you have to call in an extration and defend the evac point. It's basically "what if Magicka, but sci fi" in terms of gameplay.

Helldivers was always a holy unison of Magicka and starship troopers. A perfect co-op amalgamation of barely organized explosive chaos.

Not gonna lie, with the whole military recruitment spiel, thought this was a Super Troopers name where they couldn't get access to the IP.

Never played the first one , but heard many good things about it. This POV and gameplay is definately more my thing tbh, but each to thier own I suppose. Loving the promo for this - Starship Troopers-cum-Fallout franchise great galatic properganda recruitment ad with the big pharma style legalize disclaimer at the end , a solid 9/10. The sense of satire and wry humour is what sells it for me. Let's hope the game lives up to the hype.🤌🤙💥
