I absolutely love intense lightning storms at night where the lightning is so bright and frequent that it illuminates everything on the ground for multiple secondsbst s time and you can see as much detail as you can during the daytime. That's what I thought this could be at first with low res video
@alanhinkel420Ай бұрын
There is no lightning event where you can see just as good as in the daytime. I don’t care how intense it is. I live in the rainiest/ stormiest part of the country and I’ve been through some intense storms. I’ve never been able to see like it’s daytime. The color is not the same and the lighting is happening at different distances. But you can see.
@Fire_AxusАй бұрын

@JustMe88419Ай бұрын
I've seen very similar affects from large lightning storms. Lightning/Static Electricity build up either inside or directly behind clouds will illuminate a large area like that because the light bounces/reflects off of the inside of the cloud itself because a cloud is primarily water. If the cloud is large enough it can illuminate the sky in a very similar manner.

This sort of but not exactly reminds me of a surreal experience that I had as a child in which I woke up early in the morning and looked out my bedroom window as it gradually lightened and the sun started to rise, only to seemingly stop less than midway over the eastern horizon and slowly set again in the direction from whence it came until it incrementally became dark out again. I then remember going outside in the hallway and abruptly feeling nauseous, laying down on the floor where I fell back asleep until my Mom found me after morning's light really had come. While I am inclined to attribute this solely to some kind of semi-awake fever dream (and I did not live at or near the Arctic Circle, where something very similar would be plausible at certain times of the year), it was so elaborately convincing that I often wonder if there was also some other explanation.
