Great video, thanks! But I am curious if the flurocarbon leader affected the action of your lure? For such a big floating pencil, flurocarbon leader is not an issue?

This is actually a very good question. Yes I used flurocarbon since I did not have any shock leader at the time. It's always recommended mono shock leader to play topwater lures. I now change to mono and hopefully PART 3 coming soon 🤙

Great video Mate! do you have any tips for harbour fishing around Sydney, I've been around 7 times and I haven't caught anything only a few bites. I'm using a 5-9kg rod with 30 pound braid, and using a basic rig with sinker, swivel, then 30 pound leader to a baitholder hook. I've tried using squid and prawns but I only feel bites and can never hook anything on! I'm going at the correct tide times but i've been very unlucky! Your help would be much appreciated.

Cheers bro. Around harbour always best with live bait, catch some squids at the piers before first light then try your luck in the first light. With floater worked best.

the front is original, the back size 2/0. But I really suggest leave the stock treble. Better chance to hook up.

Sunrise i usually used clear colour. Day to afternoon with colour such as the one in the thumbnail. 🤙

Do you have a fairly loose drag? I imagine there shouldn't be much drag pulled against pe4 10000 reel?

This was 15+ years old reel that haven’t been used for long time, it was my 2nd time using this reel and I was just being careful first having a slight loose drag just in case.

Hi everyone.I am having a problems apparently with my rápido 160.I have two of them since I thought something was wrong with the first one. My rápidos have a very weird swimming action I haven’t change rings or hooks and they do a very weird roll they don’t swim nice and straight. Using 100lb fluoro,could this have that much effect on the rápido action? I would love to hear your experiences. I change hooks rings everything and same result. I love that first head dip of the lure,super enticing but then it makes a weird swim roll..,men so frustrating

Hi Pedro. The swiping and retrieving must be on the same time. Before you swipe, there has to be a little slack line. 100lb is a bit too much for f160. I reckon 50-70 lb is the sufficient.

No reason it won’t work. The bubble trail/wave created from the lure when you swipe, they said it can create some attention up to 20-30m depth.
