I started using your setting spray tip a few months back and I’ve totally confounded my daughter! She tells me every time I put on a full face that I look like a fairy princess! That’s a gigantic compliment because I’m almost 50 and I have lots of fine lines and wrinkles! I haven’t let her in on my secret yet LOL 😆 I can’t afford any high end products so I use the elf camo cc cream and the Milani make it dewy setting spray with the Fourth Ray dew it hyloronic mist. According to my daughter, who is really really really good at makeup, that combo turns me into a fairy princess 👸 I would love to see you do a drugstore version of this video!

I love your tip about the two setting sprays, that’s such a clever idea! I learnt to go over my face after setting spray with a sponge and I did that on my wedding day so now all my bridesmaids do that step too! I’m in the process of putting together a ‘if I were getting married now this is the makeup I would use’ video and I’d love to see what you would do if you were getting married now, what products you’d use and steps you’d follow to keep that makeup looking amazing all day! 🥰

I am 42 and just found my first truly life changing product. My makeup/face/skin doesn't feel the same now without it and that is the makeup by mario SOFTSCULPT® TRANSFORMING SKIN PERFECTOR. I have it in the shade light medium and i'll never buy another powder bronzer type product again. I’m soooo happy the Thrive mascara made the cut! I absolutely love that mascara all because of Allie! It truly doesn’t flake or budge on me at all and what I really loved about this mascara too is that my eyelashes stopped falling out as much! I tried so many before and I can honestly say that I don’t bother with any other mascara. Just gorgeous! I also love the Charlotte Tilbury setting spray! It hasn’t broke me out or made me flare up with rosacea and it does such a great job especially for my tinted moisturizer and light coverage days!. However I haven’t tried to double the setting sprays so I’m excited to try that trick! Love you Allie! Your amazing and every tip I’ve learned from you has done me wonders! Love love your videos! 😁

Yes the Nars light reflecting foundation has been a game changer for me this year, absolutely love the CT setting spray I'm about to start my 3 bottle but i want to try your tip with the mac fix plus aswell, love the Huda Beauty setting i rotate between that and the Nikkia Joy powder, Benifit 24hr brow setter is a holy grail aswell. I love hearing you talk about the same products because then you no its good

Loved the setting spray technique! Will try! The Rimmel Stay Matte Powder works but it does look whiter on people with a darker complexion (meaning it does change the color of your makeup and makes it look lighter). Even though I can be fair in the winter and get light/med in the summer, it doesn’t work for my complexion in the summer because of it.

Your comment about the rimmel powder absolutely cracked me up haha. I love the thrive mascara thanks to you talking about it so much. I like the brown the most after it's been used a couple times. It's perfect for my lack of wearing makeup on a regular basis. It looks great all by itself and I couldn't get over how easy it comes off. I almost never want to wear a regular mascara now. 😂

I think I've probably seen every video where you've talked about the Nars foundation! I want to try it, but Mont Blanc is sold out everywhere and can't be found and it's the shade I also need, so cool it for a while Allie so everyone will stop buying it and some of us other folks can get it! LOL! I recently purchased the Charlotte Tilbury setting spray because of all the rave reviews and I do love it! I couldn't believe either how many people I know don't use setting spray. If you're going to go through the trouble of making your face look good, make sure it lasts! I have been on the All Nighter and Thrive train for a while now! I love them both so much. The All Nighter was the only one I found that actually made my makeup last. I have implemented so many of your techniques into my makeup routine. They are top notch and they work well. Love these videos.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the Narrs light reflecting foundation with the Huda powder. I have oily skin and it does get dewy on me but it lasts for hours and doesn't break down or bunch up. It's stunning. I definitely recommend using cream products with it and then set it with the powder. I also finish my makeup with a spritz of the Caudalie Grape water and then immediately follow with Urban Decay All Nighter. It melts everything together and doesn't budge.

I love mixing Nars with my chantecalle future skin and I spray a spritz of all nighter in with them before applying to my face I love it. I use the hourglass setting spray and Tarte setting spray

Thanks for sharing! That Nars foundation is definitely on my wish list 😁 I understand what you mean about using setting sprays when there's powder on the face, but find that it's not necessary for me when I don't wear any powder products (in winter). I enjoy cutting down on buying setting sprays continuously! Oh and I always go over my setting spray now with my sponge, after I saw you give that tip a while ago 🤭

I'm a new subscriber and I just LOVE your videos, Allie! 🤗 You're beautiful, and I'm learning so much from your wonderful tips and techniques! I love the NARS foundation and am going to try it with your Huda setting powder. (I use the Laura Mercier.) Something I can't do without is a bit of contour powder down the sides and at the tip of my nose. I use one by Too Faced. It just gives me a bit of a more sculpted, sassier nose, and at 63, I can use all the sass I can get! Love you, Allie! 🌻💙🌻

I have been using the newish milani erase base primer and I have completely fallen in love with it. It works well with the foundations i have worn with it so far and with all my other favorite products I pair it with, I'm getting almost 6 hours into my work days before I touch up with my westman atelier vital pressed powder or the jouer hydrating setting powder. I'm impressed!!

*Here's a quick tip for setting your makeup according to your preferred finish:* *For matte look:* *Setting spray + Loose powder* *For dewy look:* *Loose powder + Setting spray* (and I highly recommend Elf Halo Glow Setting Powder as an alternative if you can't afford high end setting powders)

Your skin is beyond gorgeous! I don't think you even need foundation. Mind you, the Nars color is an absolute perfect match for your skin. So often I feel even youtube makeup experts are using the wrong color by a tad.

YES to the setting spray step. I use Milani dewy and CT airbrush together...dont ask me why lol i just do. I spray once i have my foundation, bronzer, light setting powder on then again at the very end.

So many new things (for me) that I want to try. I am a little confused about two setting sprays and the reasoning. I'm looking for a setting spray so this video is perfect timing. I'm wanting to know like so many other commenters if your makeup sponge is wet or dry when using? Allie, you should add the Pinnacle Foundation brush by Anisa Beauty to your products. A lot of people were asking about that brush. I only knew the answer because I just ordered a couple of brushes from them recently and love them!

Tubing mascara is life changing for me. I could never wear mascara before trying this because it always smudged under my eyes. My go to is Clinique lash power. I’ve tried a few others but always come back to this one.
