Oh yeah, I forgot they made an alternate ending. They changed it because it was closer to the director's original vision, and was less depressing than the original ending. (The "demons" even had an entire underground city in the first script, I might be wrong since it's been over 5 years since I saw the movie.)

1. They are not night demons. They are infected people who cannot go out because the sun burns them 2. Thats the leaders wife. The black guy aka the scientist in the movie was immune to the virus they have and tried to cure it, so he took the wife of the leader of the infected. 3. The movie is "I am legend"

The twist of the book is that he realizes hes Dracula. The day is their night, and he only opperates during the day. He kidnaps their people who never return, except to be found dead. Hes this singular entity that does nothing but steal their people and kill them for his own strange purposes that they warn their children about.

This was the original story ending to I am legend. This is the director's cut. I have it on a USB drive. This is the best ending when I saw the public release ending. I honestly hated the the director's cut is the only cut ever worth watching.
