Started good. The problem with car descriptions is its your car, not necessarily the one we'll have. If we're trying to learn about van builds it takes up available viewing time. (Do love your vehicle. It's exactly what I want).

Am currently still working on my car no build it’s been at a halt this winter as I have had no extra money to put towards making changes because our hours at work has been cut but the good news is we had it out doing a solo camp this weekend and it was fun. Thanks for watching.

If you haven’t had a chance to check out some of my other car camping videos on my channel as for I recently got the eco-flow Delta two, and that is priced pretty reasonably. I believe I got mine on Black Friday sale but they’re still a decent price and it can run a toaster oven, a coffee maker and so many more devices it’s a pretty awesome set up so please watch a couple camping videos and comment in the comment section what you think about it and it’s abilities. I’d love to hear from you after watching the videos

Thank you for the tip about using your smaller battery to add power to your larger battery. I have a 1500wh and 548wh battery and the 1500wh, according to the website, needs a 400w solar panel to charge. I'm about to get a 100w solar panel that I plan to use if I need too. I planned on using my smaller battery to charge the bigger one if needed. The bigger one will run my car fridge and maybe my 600W kettle and skillet. Anyways, now I know topping off with the smaller battery in a pinch is OK. I also have a Jackery 300 that I can bring.

I have the Jackery 240 currently with a solar panel am looking at getting the Ecoflow Delta 2 it has a 1,800 watt peak I’ll be needing to get a solar panel for that one how big of a generator would I need to use to top off the Ecoflow Delta 2 i don’t think the little 240 will work

Well I was watching this and feeling grateful I'm no longer addicted to caffeine. Makes things so much more simple when you don't have to make that a priority in your build (which most builds I look at do). Personally I'd be perfectly happy just to buy a good coffee from a cafe here and there once in a blue moon - saves money AND space

I really appreciated being the man behind the camera and you kind of turned me on to this no build minivan thing because I wanted to do a full build, but this is just a quicker easier way to possibly get into this and I never knew this before till this little walk around and the look inside was very educational to me to say the least. Thanks for coming down and meeting up with us. It was a lot of fun.

A coffee maker? It's called a pour over. A microwave? Use a skillet on a stove. I'm amazed that people aren't willing to give up modern conveniences, but will short themselves on their food supply.

Yes, it's unfortunate that all those "van build" videos in the previous decade gave ppl the impression that you can take it all with you - that it's just the same life but on wheels. Realistically, my impression, is that you have to think of it as not only a different lifestyle but a different culture - and like all different cultures the values are different (eg. "I must shower every day" or "I must wash up every day"; whereas on the road these 'necessities' become luxuries). Edit: I practically cringe now when I see ppl talk about a van-build that includes a full shower! The idea of carrying that much water 😱

@susie9893 I don’t know if I could go days without showering and now a days it’s getting harder to find a spot to camp without paying a arm and a leg by no means can you have even a quarter of the stuff we are a custom to it’s definitely not as easy as people make it seem

@@lowermichiganadventures I have no problem with using wipes and the spray bottle trick and only showering 1-2 times per week. For me, I'd rather use my water to do laundry - that's a big concern I feel (if you're boondocking away from natural water sources). Yes, I was just in another forum where we were discussing how difficult it is to find free camping now 😖

@@susie9893 yes 👍 I believe clean clothes is very important as well and these days it seems like they are trying to make it difficult on everyone with inflation I think more people will be living in their vehicles if you choose that lifestyle it’s one ☝️ thing but alot of people work full time and can’t afford to rent a place I do it for a weekend adventure not sure if I would be cut out for full time
