A video like this has never been done before!! I GAVE A HUGE NEGLECTED MANSION A BEAUTIFUL MAKEOVER!! This yard was so out of control I had to make a series out of it. On this video I tackle the back pool deck on this Abandoned mansion and the more overgrown grass I shoveled away the more beautiful it became, Whats also cool about this property Is there was 4 mansions so I invited two of my Buddys to join in on the fun! let me know what you think about this awesome transformation in the comments below! and Nexted weeks video ill be chipping away at this insanely tall front yard and gving it a facelift, see you 3pm next Tuesday HOPE YALL ENJOY, I LOVE YOU!

I did a little bit of searching and was able to find out a few things about these houses. 1) This particular house was built in 2002 and the 15 acres that all of the houses sit on was owned by the same family at one time. 2) The last known resident was arrested for larceny several years ago and the bank took possession of the entire property and all the houses on it. 3) The bank is currently trying to sell just this house and 5 of the 15 acres for $499,900 (buying the other houses and the rest of the land for a higher price is also an option). The pictures of the property show that the interior is covered in black mold so the likelihood of the bank actually getting half a million out of this property is slim which is probably why it's been sitting on the market for so many years. Hope this helps with some of the mystery surrounding this property!

Thank you. I was wondering what the story was. Amazing that the bank could let the property deteriorate to that extent but still think they can sell it for that much. They are never going to recoup their losses with such an approach.

The city/county should gift you and your family one of these abandoned properties for all the good work you've done for others. Makes me so mad knowing there are all these amazing homes just crumbling, when so many people could make use of them and bring them back to their former glory with a little effort. The neighborhood would benefit from it, too. Great work as always!

I swear I thought the same thing I mean why can’t they help people that are homeless if nothing else make it into apartments or something and I was also thinking they should just deed it to Al for all the work that he’s done on it and I’m sure he’d make it look brand new when he was done with it .

I thought the same thing about that back patio that the house opens up to. We can only imagine how beautiful it once was, and who lived there. I was thinking that maybe the people were elderly and passed and left the place as an inheritance and they never kept it up. I would love to see pictures of the place like in the early to late 70's.

@@donaldthomas7753 there being 4 makes you think differently though. 2008 housing crisis victims perhaps? And since they are in the middle of nowhere maybe there was never enough demand to sell them for any sort of value of even just the property once they are too dilapidated. Or the occupants had to move elsewhere to find employment even if their house wasnt foreclosed. Maybe legal trouble and people with money no longer had their ill gotten gains. I dont know, but those are definitely nice houses and not that old. Im not sure that is really 20 years worth though. I think 20 years would look even worse. In FL stuff like that happens fast. Maybe someone was maintaining them somewhat for a while or since then.

The three MOW - ER - TEERS with the Biggest Hearts I've ever seen ! It really doesn't get any better than this, you know. The three of you working together is definitely something to look forward to. I love this idea of the collaboration you're doing. I'd love to see it go even further with a place like this, if you could collab with a pressure washer to clean the pavers on the patio and a pool cleaner to restore that pool, do an entire back patio transformation together!

Not with black mold inside the house. In Florida the humidity is perfect for growing the dangerous stuff. The remediation will cost a fortune since it probably means taking all of the interior walls down to the studs. That being said does not diminish the hard work Al is doing for free. It shows how honest and awesome he is👍

I like how you used the string trimmer to not only cut off the vegetation but to blow away the fine dirt. Very efficient, plus less noise. I'm inspired to go tackle my patio!

Love this Collab, Al! Quick way to rid patios, sidewalk a d driveway cracks of weeds is to spray the patio with water and table salt mixture in a sprayer. Go heavy on the salt, that is what kills the weeds!! Make sure to do it on a day when it isn't supposed rain. You want the salt to soak in to cracks as it kills the weeds at their roots!. It keeps weeds away for a good while!! My Mom taught me this and it is okay to just put table salt directly in the cracks. We did that on her sidewalks and small patios between the brick pavers.

I use vinegar for weed control. Spray for two days and wait, then on the fourth day, pull or rake all the dead weeds.

Where do we go with the mansion sitting empty wats sad they need mental health issues addressed 1st because none want the help from shelter to board and care homes they rather live homes some not all but yes help those who want but I believe the government is using the money to hire people to run them etc. Whereas the other $ going I kno in Wasco California they have a once used farm cottages for all the field workers they have turned them in to homes for those whom were homeless when I caught the train to Fresno I saw 30 plus little home what a beautiful usage out of sitting empty blessings spilling over a little at a time.....

Probably because it was to expensive to upkeep. That's normally what happens with mansions that breakdown/abandon. People just can't afford anyone to take care of it and they don't (or can't) do it themselves. Sad but true. Mansions take money to keep clean and running.

Sad to see a mansion neglected for so many years that was once beautiful. Wish that they could just donate the house instead of just being wasted. Once again, we (me--kindergarten teacher, my 26 year old daughter and my 96 year old mother) loved watching the transformation--this time of the mansion's pool area. It will be great to watch the front yard and the other two mansions! It is the BEST when you, Kevin and AP collaborate! It helps all three channels (because we'll watch them all) and the area and people around it. Keep it up! We always watch!

Whoever did the stonework around the pool did a great job. It has stood up great after all those years of neglect. The stone around our pool looks like crap. It was done before we bought the place but the weeds, chives and other crap that grows around and through a lot of the bricks looks like the mess Al had to do outside the house. Not sure why the previous owner put chives and bee friendly plants around a pool. My children and I are allergic to bees. Could get help removing the flowers and bushes. With my weed eater it takes hours. Not including hours of cleaning the pool. Years of doing it with little help from the teens or my husband, i gave up this year. We are going to fill it in. Husband hates swimming anyway. You all are doing great work.

Looks great, Al. Not knocking the amount of work you ( and the others ) are doing, but how much more awesome would it be if you guys could throw in some pressure washing as well. You could draw water from the pool. It will fill up again from rain.
