So beautiful. I honestly was worried that the moral of the story was that women should just support their husbands and not complain. (Which we should, but in the case of this story she was so lonely.) But that is so awesome that Judaism really focuses on family and that even if you are the best Torah scholar and look godly to the world, but neglect your wife, you are nothing. I’m so glad it addressed the wife’s starving soul. 😢❤

Blessed is Our Eternal Creator!!! I returned early This past Friday night with only my wife being home. I saw this video before the Shabbos. I really wanted to learn some Torah while my wife made final preparations. While choosing what I would learn, she asked me to help her prepare the salads and bring them to our Shabbos table. It bothered me, to be honest. However, I thought about the Divine Providence of having seen the video above. I applied the teachings from Rav Arush. This Friday evening, I spoke with my wife, listened to her views, and overall felt I had honored the Shabbos more by being there for her instead of sinking my thoughts into Torah. Truth on Shabbos by day, I attended my classes, and the learning seemed stronger than usual. Brother, the advice you gave or shared from Rav Arush, enhanced our Shabbos and Shalom Bayit. Keep on sharing because I know you want to upgrade your caring.

It was just a parable to teach the lesson.

What a beautiful message. We cannot neglect our families. I was so worried the story would condemn the wife for not supporting her husband. I’m SO glad the story emphasized her starving soul and how lonely she was for her husband’s attention. Shows how easy it is to pursue “godly” things and project a godly image to the world and neglect those most important. 😢❤

@houseoflev beautiful story. I see what happens here. When you begin the parable,, the way you edit this video it sounds like you are speaking about the author of the book harav harush. As opposed to the person who is in the parable who is a Torah Giant...
