My TRICK for keeping my straight lashes curled all day is this: After curling my lashes and applying mascara, I use my hairdryer on the HIGH & COOL setting to dry my lashes in that curled position. I literally put the hairdryer close to my closed eyes and use the air to push up my lashes as they're drying, and it works AMAZINGLY!! Try it and let me know if it works for you too!

I also have dry eyes, but this hack doesn't affect that because your eyes are to remain closed the entire time.@@missjoasia123

@@missjoasia123you can warm up your eyelash curler with your blowdryer before curling, your eyelashes will have a nice curl and lasts all day

I actually heat my curler up with a hair dryer first, then waterproof mascara is a must or else they will drop. I am very interested in trying this mascara you used 🥰

I have the same issue. But for a few years now, I use Etude - dr. Mascara fixer (white wirh pink not green) after i curl my lashes. Let it dry and then your own favorite mascare. Winner!

My eyelashes used to be triple layer and curled. I didn't use mascara at all until I was in my mid-30s. With age, my eyelashes stayed triple row thick.but started going grey and flattening out. I found a mascara that worked like an absolute dream for keeping my lashes curled; Jane's fan club. I was devastated when Jane disappeared. Since then, I use NYC Sky High for lengthening but haven't found a great mascara to hold a curl in place. I just received my Judy Doll curling iron mascara from Amazon today and I'm excited to try it.

I have the same type of lashes, straight and very sparse. Until I started using the Thrive mascara… OMG, it keeps the curl, volume and lift all day long!!! I first curl my lashes and then I apply a lash primer and then the mascara. It lasts all day, doesn’t flake or smear at all. It’s so easy to remove too, just use lukewarm water in them and voilà!!! That’s a plus in my books, lol

Mine took over a month to arrive, BUT…it was worth the wait. I have Asian lashes and always crimp my lashes before mascara, it actually held its curl and made my lashes look longer and thicker than ever

The new L’Oréal Panorama. It’s the one all in gold and I tell you it will hold your curl. I have the identical lashes to Nikkia and it works! You have to try it but this one looks awesome!

I need to use a waterproof mascara for the curls to stay. Or perm my lashes. But I did for mascara on Temu with a very skinny wand which works! and it’s not waterproof. I also just ordered one of these metal ones from Temu. We shall see.

When I was younger, I would heat up my eyelash curler for a few seconds using my blow dryer, then I would wear whichever mascara I had and my lashes would look really nice all day. It didn’t matter what mascara I bought heating up my eyelash curler always worked. Now as I’ve gotten older (I’m 41 now), normal mascara’s don’t work for my lashes like they used to. I can only wear waterproof mascara’s otherwise my lashes will fall flat. (And yes, I still have to heat up my eyelash curler first before I apply my waterproof mascara. The one I currently use is the Wet n Wild Mega Length waterproof mascara. It’s less than $4 in the US. 😊

My trick to keep my lashes up all day is to curl them first, apply the mascara per normal then curl the lashes AGAIN after the mascara has dried down. This will keep the shape all day but you’ll need to find a mascara that dries down non-sticky (otherwise it'll tug). I use an oil cleanser to remove these tough waterproof mascaras because using your fingers are so much gentler than a cotton pad.

Wow 🤩 Nikkia, this really worked on your lashes, I know you struggle with getting your lashes to stay curled, I have the same problem, we are so alike in so many ways, foundation sisters, your skin tone is very much like yours, the only difference is that I’m old enough to be your Mum Lol 😂, I definitely take a look at this product as my lashes do exactly the same as what yours did on the side you just used the lash curler, my lashes never hold a curl and the more mascara I apply, the messier they look and get so clumpy with mascara, I like the Sky High one also….Hope all is well with you and your little bundle of sunshine, can’t wait for a gender reveal some time soon Please….Take Care Pretty Mummy ❤️❤️🩷💙🐶🐶🐶🇦🇺

I have straight lashes , but longer than yours and the Thrive cosmetics tubing mascara lengthens and curls my lashes at the same time and they stay all day. If I had to do all that…. Glad you found something that is working but that’s a whole routine just for your lashes lol

Have you tried Lisa Eldridge's kitten lash mascara? I love all her products but I haven't tried the mascara... it supposedly lifts up the lashes also. I've seen a video where she applies to someone & it looks effective...

Listen, I ordered the exact same mascara bc I seen it on TikTok and IG…. And it was AWFUL for me!!😕 I have blondish colored lashes but they’re long. But this one just didn’t do what it said it was supposed to do. Glad it works for you tho 😘

@@kandirain_1172Sorry, I never saw that I had a notification to this comment but yes, I did do all the steps that she done BUT… not sure if my lashes were having a bad day in general or what, but I tried it for a 3rd time just to see, & that time they did stand up More so than the previous 2 times I had tried it. And after applying a different mascara over them, it then did actually work. Even tho I did follow all the steps correctly (bc I had seen this product being reviewed by a tiktoker back in December or January I wna say) I’m not sure if it was the way I applied it, maybe I didn’t apply enough product before going in with my regular mascara or what….but in the end, this DOES work! U just have to keep practicing with it & use the right amount . ❤

I've been using this mascara for a couple of times now. But I absolutely hate it. Yes it curls my lashes sky high, I don't need a curler for that. It doesn't smudge, I think it's waterproof. But some crispy bits of mascara would fall of under my eye. It only lengthens and curls my lashes, not a volumizing mascara which is what I prefer. The worst part is, it's a bloody pain to remove this mascara, I can only clean it with oil based cleanser or else it won't budge. It makes my lashes dry and crispy as hell. Stopped using it and switched to Bobbi Brown smokey eye mascara instead.

I know you ladies always want your waterproof. But you can thank DuPont. You're literally putting Teflon on your eyes. A lot of our makeup industry is bad for us. Waterproof mascara a huge no no.
