Yeah he was one of the inspirations for me when I started working on my channel here along with obsessed garage, between the two of them I felt like I could put myself out there in a similar way but my own style also

It’s not hugely popular in the US, but the brand Vonixx (from Brazil) has an interior cleaner called Sintra that’s my favorite. The larger volume containers are concentrates that have fantastic dilution ratios, and the actual cleaning power genuinely surprised me the first time I used it (at a ~1:10 dilution). A nice bonus is that it sanitizes as well. Edit: I’m fairly sure I know which product Standard 9 was, and that’s more an interior detailer than a dedicated cleaner, so it’s not really meant for heavy grime. (That said, the company did just release a dedicated interior cleaner a few days ago.) Also, as satisfying as the foam is visually, it’s more a pain to get it out of crevices than anything else-not generally a desirable trait from a true detailing perspective.

Wow! So informative, transparent and so many things to add... Jeepers! Bob, interiors I really just want an apc. I Love Lemon Simple Green to be honest. I also use Typhon, which is an apc with an added odor eliminator! I rarely use the interior detailers, some are too glossy, just not my thing. If yer still looking for ideas, Next Level has one that a lot of people Love. Good cleaning ability, and adds protection! Your powdered soaps look great Bob. I think I'd like that simply for storage vs. Liquid gallons! The spray aluminum polish is a great ideas and awesome for maintenance. Truckers will Love that stuff. The iron remover is a great product to add to your lineup, so versatile. You can remove fallout on paint as you pointed out, and remove the brake dust which is HUGE when you are doing a total reset on a hammered set of wheels! As for tire dressing, I Love CSI NuTyre, Next Level Tire Gel and Adam's Graphene tire dressing. Years ago I used NOTHING but Meguiars Hyper Dressing, very dilutable and zero sling (which boils down mostly to tire prep). On a tire coating Bob, I have used six different ones and in my opinion, Black Rhino Eco Shine is the easiest to deal with. By the way, that Mop N Glo trick is an "OG" trucker Trick, I Love it!!! Great video Bob! Happy Independence Day Brother! Last thought, a Rinseless wash would be a MUST add to your lineup. It's great for washing, light clean ups, glass cleaner, and interiors.. such a great product!! 🇺🇸

For dash panels i use sprayway glass cleaner. Can do the entire truck with it if you wanted but its just so easy for interior since it won't streak

I really love the smell of eucalyptus mint interior cleaner from Adams Polishes. Clean and resh without feeling heavy or overwhelming.

Also, maybe the corrosion resistance could be added to a Stripes version, like a Stripes+. Then you could use the standand two step cleaning but with the last step leaving the rust inhibitor behind.

Bob, if that last iron remover is yours, it’s a winner. One issue with fallout remover is reaction time. Yours looks like it reacts almost instantly and hits very hard when it does. If this is what is to come from your retail version, I will switch immediately.

I’ll bet that low odor version is Stoner. I can say it was a valiant effort, but the performance is lacking to say the least.

Yes, the more viscosity you have, the better. The longer it stays in the target area to do work, the better. Also, it’s typically used as coat, and rinse product, unless cleaning wheels.

I’m a fan of citrus or melon type scents for interior cleaners: , lemon, orange, . I forgot sandlewood, Cedarwood, bergamot are nice woodsy type aromas👍

I 100% agree with the foaming action. It makes me feel like I’m actually cleaning something as for sent I prefer non scented. And for developing a new product a rinse less wash would be great because I don’t always have access to a hose and I’m constantly washing my truck where I live in the Pacific Northwest.

I’ve got an unscented version of my interior cleaner now, trouble is it still smells like the ingredients and that’s not great lol. Waterless wash is a great idea, I’ve been thinking about it and that might be a good fit for my line

You have a lot of work ahead of you, that is for sure. Bilthamber auto-foam snowfoam is the smell for me. I don't think that could get any better. I would be happy to try any of your samples, but I am in the UK!!

How is it at attracting dust? Meguiars Hot shine tire coating is fav for my semi…. You can literally wipe the dust off without effecting shine… after awhile you have to pressure wash the tires off and restart… but it’s my go to

I've tried multiple brands over the last couple years, Koche Chemie Green Star is my go-to on interior APC, works great, smells good, and dilutes really well too, price is a little higher than P&S and others but in my opinion the dillution strength makes up for it.

For your interior cleaner i still like the idea of a doall kind of cleaner either for those that don't want/care enough to specialize to the object they're cleaning. Having somw specialized stuff for say a dedicated leather cream or gel could be useful as well as plastic specifc uv protectant kind of stuff along side the doall type of product. A cloth upholstery cleaner would be sweet. Heavy duty cleans great but doesn't have a nice fresh scent and sometimes leaves cloth stiff and coarse feeling. I wouldn't sacrifice your interior cleaner just to make it glass friendly. Typical practice is to do glass last anyway and its not hard to buff off a little chrome or a screen. But some additional scents would be great. Regarding spray bottles, your current spray heads are the best I've used. Nice even mist application of the product. Bottle wise it might be nice to have a large version for detail shops, garage guys, and such. Then a cup holder size bottle people could keep in their car or just stick in the cup holders while cleaning to avoid it falling over. I'm excited for the salt neutralizer for sure.

Awesome input thank you! I do like my current triggers too but I’d like to have a three finger trigger and a narrower 32oz bottle to fit in the hand better, I might go with an opaque bottle across the board as well for durability and consistent appearance next to the gallons 🤔

I've been using Hotzy "Salt Lick" they say its safe to run through the pump which enables it to be actually used as a wash at high pressure with heat so it gets into all the crevasses. Really like it as quick outdoor wash even below freezing.

@ChemX I use stars and stripes after salt lick temperature permitting. But if it's below freezing I just use salt lick as a one step wash with no rinse.

Hi Bob!! For me, you've already nailed one of my favorite scents... Green Tea Citrus. I just recently ordered a bottle, so I'm cranked to do my whole F150 in it. I think it's a very calming smell. I'm very happy you spilled that #5 was Larry's AMMO Lather, but I'm still really wondering what the Fruit Loop sprays are. I also like the foam, because if anything, the suds seem to help carry away dirt and grime. I also use the color of the foam to help me determine if I'm done cleaning, because as long as fresh spray keeps turning nasty, I'm not finished. I WILL say that I'm really interested in the powdered Stars & Stripes idea because I'm just a home user, and it seems much easier to keep those little jars in my cleaning toolbox and just spoon out enough to just make a single foamer's worth than to keep big and heavy jugs of the stuff. All my cleaning kit is stored in my Craftsman VersaStack rolling toolkit, INCLUDING that little RYOBI pressure washer you abused :) I love it to death for my small jobs and I still get good washing with an upgraded lance and foamer. That goes in the bottom box, my solutions go in the medium box with other little extras, and then the top is an open tote with handle that goes inside the truck with me. Then when I'm done, I can put it all away inside the stack, snap the locks and roll it away for storage. In case it isn't obvious, I don't have a garage, so I tuck my stack of tools and chems away in a closet and just cart everything out as needed, so anything I can do to keep the physical space required to a minimum is where my mind goes to.

Nice I’m glad you like the green tea interior that’s cool to hear! Yeah ammo lather is one of my favorites, and the fruit loops is Koch chemie polstar. I’ll probably just use all the cleaners I have by name in the future, I was wanting to not diss anyone but turns out a like everyone else’s stuff better lol so I’ve legit only got positive things to say. I’m glad you mentioned the single use powder idea I’ve still got time for a last minute adjustment to the label to specify 1oz powder to a cannon for the right amount 😁👏👏

Tire shine - KOCH Chemie Plast Star and Tire Glaze are amazing. I do not like coatings. I feel they dull out and the install can be a pain. Carpro Darkside is a good option, though. Zero sling is important, as you stated. Another important point is the ability to vary shine. People tend to like shiny, or matte. A lot of the products I use are stackable. Let the product set/dry, then add coats to increase shine as you wish. Adam’s Graphene tire dressing is a good water base. Silicone can be a pain as it’s difficult to wash out of applicators, brushes, etc. Also can be a pain to strip from the tire.

It would be beneficial to provide a foaming version for deep cleaning and a non-foaming version for tasks such as wiping down or disinfecting like the gyeon interior cleaner with alcohol.I prefer the foaming version for heavy-duty cleaning, but for dusting, I enjoy the Gyeon Interior Cleaner. After using the foaming version i like do a quick wipe down with the Gyeon Interior Cleaner leaves a nice matte finish and no residue.

Yeah I may end up rolling with my current interior cleaner with more scent options if we can’t get the residue on glass issues figured out, and then maybe a new cleaner that’s low foam and no residue could be for light maintenance and maybe uv protection if possible without residue🤔

@@ChemX Try polstar from koch chemie for me that's a perfect interior cleaner high foaming and no residue left Try at 5:1 for heavy cleaning and 10:1 for normal use and then try the Asc from them as well it's the perfect from both sides I love your stuff and a shop like yours it's my dream.

I’d love to see the salt neutralizer be something that works really well with undercarriage washers. Also for reference my go to interior cleaner has been the meguirs interior detailer but I’m not happy with it. And my go to metal polish is nevrdull (I think that’s how it’s spelled)

I’d love to offer a cost effective undercarriage rinser with a simple power washer injector to apply the neutralizer, that’s one reason I want to accomplish the goal with a single step soap

I think it’s a matter of do you want any sort of protection/anti static property to your cleaner or not. The ones with protection are the runny non foaming ones while just the straight cleaning ones usually foam up nicely. The industry standards in 2024 would be in no order: - Armour detail supply pilot - lithium - P&S express - Koch chemie pol star - griots interior cleaner - phoenix eod typhon - laboscosmetica omnia 2.0 and ductile - diy interior clean & protect - ethos - carpro quick detailer

One last lone Jedi to consider: Turtle Wax Inside Job. It’s Cleans and Protects, leaves a matte finish not intended for upholstery/ carpets. Or windows.. The scent is an Açaí aroma.

as far as scent goes.. i find that if i use too many things that leave a scent (interior cleaner, leather cleaner, apc, etc) then all the smells together get pretty overwhelming and I just have to air out the vehicle. so.. simple fragrances that work with each other?

Me personally I love a good smelling interior cleaner but not an over powering smell. I’d love to find a cleaner that smells like Lucas Slick Mist spray wax cause I love the smell of that stuff. The brand Chemical Guys All Purpose Interior has a really good smell too but my favorite is the Lucas, I’ll just spray it thick on a micro fiber and lay it on my seat and use it as an air freshener in my vehicles and in my semi.

What about cleaning truck normally and putting salt neutralizer after and see what it leaves behind if not rinsed off on a clean surface

Yeah for sure that would work, my chemist says the inhibitor well stay even after a rinse also, which makes sense you wouldn’t want it to come off if the vehicle got wet after

Hey Man, every bottle I have ever tried usually fails within 1 month of chemical in them. The bottles themselves are fine but the trigger and sprayer always fails. Do your D lime bottles hold up to like wheel cleaners etc? Pretty intense stuff.

So what a lid designed like some of the gallon tin olive oil containers? You pull the tab and while you are pulling the tab, there is a sleeve that comes out with it at the same time….that way you would have the shoulder area and the sleeve that comes out with the pull tab contains the powder?

Oh that’s a cool idea, I sourced a 16oz jar that has a neck that fits into the 5g pail but the shoulder does not, seems to work perfect and keep everything going in easy

Id love a fresh lemon scent, but made with real lemon oil not that artificial stuff. Also i used to have a menthol and eucalyptus car fragrance, that was banging,smelt amazing and cleared your chest too 💪💪

How about Murphys oil soap scent in a cleaner that actually cleans. As we all know Murphys smells great but not very aggressive as its made for fine wood products. I'd guess the scent is copyrighted but maybe get close.

Preventing snow and ice build up on top of trailers is a huge problem and cost lives every year.And nobody has the solution other than having to park it and get huge fines.

Only thing I’ve seen is at some large companies they have an arch the trucks can drive under to scrape the snow off, def a huge hazard to drive with snow up there

@@ChemX correct but there not everywhere.Imagine spraying your car or truck down before a storm.The next day no snow or accumulated ice.There is no product out there that is safe and can make life easier for millions of people.
