Ive checked out a couple of Venezianico watches myself, but i have to say this one does seem pretty special. That pitch black dial almost is like a black hole that sucks you in. I agree with you on them needed to change the movement though. Although I'd personally prefer to see a 9039. That way they could slim the down that case, but you'd also get the added benefit of that smooth sweep of the second hand too.

Awesome! You're right...you have to see this watch in person to grasp how deep the black dial is. So clean!

@@TopTierTicker⁠I agree. You'd think the NH38 would come at a slightly lower cost to the manufacturers, but I guess it doesn't. Either that or it's harder for them to secure in quantity???

@@WatchWitt I think it is an availability issue. I believe NH38's are a lot harder to get hold of, so the price on them is inconsistent. Still, figure it out, yano!?

Yeah, I agree. I'd say the 36 wears more like a 38. 40 more like a 42. Those dials have a lot of presence 👌👌🔥

I really like this, it absolutely oozes style and elegance. It's definitely dressy but I agree it's a piece you can wear every day. It's so plain but looks amazing, you can't take your eyes off it! I've not seen them before so thanks for sharing Kieron. Another top video mate 👍

I don't think they've gone for legibility or quick timekeeping. They've gone for a cool visual experience... And they've nailed it. But true, they hella shiny

I've tried their H-Link. Wasn't impressed. If it has a butterfly clasp, It's an avoid from me.

It is a beautiful watch. The black is gorgeous. I’m not a fan of watches with zero markers (like so many women’s watches 🙄). IMO, it would look better with steel applied numbers or markers which would give them a floating look. Great video!

This or the Boldr Safari? I do like this, but although similar (ish), i like that the Boldr has a bit of lume.

I personally prefer the regular steel and black combination of this Venezianico, but they both deliver the same thing. Boldr looks like better value, this looks more visually appealing. (IMO)

This is a very cool looking watch as is, but if you could slim it down a couple of mil and (I'm just fantasizing here) stick a spring drive movement in it to get the smooth moving seconds hand, it must just be the coolest looking watch ever made.

I have a 36mm and love it. I have a different opinion on the perfect movement. A Bulova Precionist with that perfect sweepof the second hand. Probably not available to third parties but I can dream.

They've been painted on with the same black paint, so you can't see them

Black watches are the most versatile as the different light and reflections make them match any combo of straps or clothes going well with blues, blacks, browns, greys etc. Pure black loses a bit of the versatility.

my personal opinion brand that is inspired by the city of Venice, but which in this way becomes a brand with values too close to their customs. also in the description of their brand reference is made to venezian-ico, referring to the city of Venice, and with "ico" a way of life and values (which no one knows, however, they should explain it to us) As for the watch in question, it was a marketing operation. people don't know the brand and buy it for pure aesthetics. I owned the watch (resold), unjustified movement for the price (nh35), and the functionality of a watch (reading the time) is totally lost I also found the dial very dirty, more suitable for evenings rather than an everyday watch and usable in sunlight😢

Sorry to hear you've had a bad time with it. Sounds like it ruined your opinion on the brand too. But yes, people are buying this watch for its pure aesthetics. It's obviously not the best spec for the cash, but the dial is fabulous. It's for a collection that's already bursting with watches. Something different to throw on at the weekend. I appreciate you sharing your opinion. Stay well
