Thank you for explaining and showing how cash stuffing is done. I had heard of it but wasn't sure of it machinations. I know you're at the start of your life journey of getting married, however I'm at the other end...after 28years of marriage, we are separating and I'll be with my 3 kids so I'm looking how i can start a budgeting and savings routine to still be able to make birthdays and Christmas special and not feel the financial strain when these events come around. So it goes to show, it's never too late to learn how to budget! 😊

what camera are you using now? and which one would you buy next? i thought it was intentional to have kind of a darker, grey-ish filming style. I find it aesthetic and in line with your branding.

I use the Canon Mark M50...I think thats what it is called. I thought it could be a little clearer maybe? Thank you anyway X

Oh man, you're so good at savings! You know what, you motivated me. July is around the corner, so that's my call to start. I'll watch all your cash stuffing videos and start cash budgeting. I just have one question: how do you deal with having so much cash at home?

Yes, such a good time to start budgeting! This is the most cash I have had but I plan to head to the bank this week and condense most of it and instead use placeholders!

How do you get the cash to start off? Do you take your pay in cash? And do you only pay for things with cash rather than a card?

So I basically pay all of my bills electronically when I get paid (mortgage, electricity, water, fuel, groceries). With the funds that are leftover I will go to an ATM and take the money out. After a few times of doing this I now haven't been back to the bank and I simply keep using the cash I have and placeholders if that makes sense? I just found if I had money in my bank account left after paying all of my living expenses I would end up spending it on things I don't need. Now I just leave myself enough to pay for necessities and everything else I will try and save. I will definitely film a pay day routine video to explain this better :)

@@byShannonReynolds yes that makes sense. I’ve found since covid budgeting has gone out the window because we were only able to use cards. Previously I would withdraw a weekly amount and once it was gone that was it but with a card you’d have little idea of how much you’re spending. I’m inspired now to withdraw a set amount of cash again and start budgeting. 😊🙏🏻
