Lot of that succesful shops cut out Printify and deal with the suplier and printer directly, especially the Chinese ones are always happy to supply directly. Gives them more profit and more branding options.

I think what works with print on demand in 2024 and up is personalization.

@@user-ud5ke7hl4w it’s a great way to create best sellers but it’s not to say you can’t do pod without, the majority of products I’ve sold weren’t personalized

They get lucky too. I know someone with one of their paintings and they misspelled the name Noah. The purchaser didn't say anything, they just kept it.

If they've achieved great success, then their being "General" is not a deterrent. They'll be just fine going forward, as their business model is excellent.

I have a question about how to do the personalization orders, I mean, when someone gave his name and date, how can I deliver the order to him? Because I and many others have scheduling problems and we cannot handle the high volume of orders, like those two other sites that used custom printing on artificial stone and metal panels.

I think this is putting the cart before the horse. If you're actually getting so much volume that you can't manage it, you're making enough money to scale (ie. hire someone).

When they do customization, do they get the names and customized elements from their Shopify store then they update the image in canva and send that to printify? Is that how that works?

It's done with a personalization app. Probably TeeInBlue, Customily or AnywherePOD.
