I meant to mention it in the video, but this mod is highly configurable. You can adjust spawn weights and disable pretty much everything in the mod. You can even adjust what biomes mobs spawn in.

I love how this mod feels like it could be from Vanilla Minecraft. The models and mechanics perfectly capture that Mojang feel, it’s a really underrated mod.

The one thing that makes it unsuitable for vanilla is that you can kill, tame, and ride wild animals that may or may not be endangered, which is why Mojang doesn’t wanna add sharks, but it is a bad reason.

@@maverickdarkrath4780 Polar bears are neutral and unlikely to be encountered, but mojang does not want people irl to either approach sharks or be encouraged to kill sharks, but still a lackluster reason, because there are many games with sharks in them. And while that reason makes sense considering Minecraft is the most popular game in the world, it still doesn’t add up when you have bees, wolves, polar bears, pandas, dolphins, turtles, etc. in the game and you can kill all of them in game, but of course not in real life. Bees are endangered and yet you can kill them in game, and same for some of the others like pandas.

@baldrobe_dwane no it's actually easier because you can reuse a lot of code and assets that the game already has. I mean you can tell the modder reused some assets already present within preexisting mobs to make his mobs. (Nothing wrong with that though) So modding is actually easier not harder.

@@marcovalencia146 i had to disable them. Luckily the drops it has aren’t too useful. My mosquito phobia is too strong, I can only deal with real life ones, not life sized demons 😭

One of the things I LOVE about this mod is how much they fit into the game. They look like they belong in vanilla minecraft.

It's gorgeous. I hope they are adding more animals! Oooo what about wolfs? And the vanilla ones are becoming stray dogs or wild dogs. That would be cool right?

You know what would be awesome? If a fly you bred was sort of tamed so that if you brought it to the nether you had a tamed mosquito.

The items some of these animals drop that goes towards potions really gives a BOTW feel, making elixirs. Wish more vanilla mobs in the overworld dropped items you could use for brewing.
