Actually when it come's to render distance and minecraft performance in geenral, minecraft is more heavily dependant on the CPU rather than your GPU

This mod + the create mod is basically as close to minecraft 2 as you'll get (hopefully this mod also has good cave generation)

WHAT? See the hole in the cliff! That is not possible with "perlin noise". You need a vertical other influence to create this. Very well done!

@Ethan Williams Perlin noise is a randomly generated black-white image. Then the game looks where darker areas are and generat a mountain there. If the place on the map is white there will be flat terrain. So it's only on the y-axis and not like the hole in the mountain on the x/z-axis. In conclusion: Wenn you see a map with holes in cliffs and Mountains you can be pretty sure that the map is made by hand exept for this mod

I LOVE that you put the landmarks in the middle of the screen, it's definitely more pleasing to the eye than just wildly flying around with the camera mod

I really hope the Mojang devs take note. We need world generation like this in Vanilla especially since caves and mountains are getting their much needed updates, why not other biome generation?

Since that would be a way to hardcore change to Minecraft, be sure a lot of players would complain. That's why we have mods, for us to choose what stuff we want on our game.

Personally, I think Vanilla generation is a crucial part of Minecraft's feel, and changing that too drastically would lose that feel. I certainly wouldn't complain about more diverse terrain, or higher heights and deeper depths in terms of surface terrain, though.

@@barodrinksbeer7484 They started that idea of hiring these modders with one of the most Og modder that they know. Aether mod is one of the mods that change minecraft. Maybe one day mojang will hire this or these guys ( I don't know if they're a group of people or just a single person.) It's just a matter of time. It's not that easy to program something like this. Bugs may occur that code break the world generation.

Any and every terrain generation mod would absolutely love the 1.17 update. I just really hope the mods would follow suit with updating them to 1.17.

Eventually I'd imagine, but a change in world height may require major changes depending how they were made, so it may or may not take a long time.

I'm in love with how natural the riverbeds look, but then there's some stuff that's just sticks out and looks super awesome. It's an amazing balance between more natural-looking terrain generation and fantastical, stand-out structures. I'm in love.

Oh it is! I made my own little pixelmon server with a similar otg preset (travelersdream), mobends, seus shader + optifine, forge and forge essentials. Game is absolutely sick right now!

What you can do with forge and forge essentials is instead 8f have thousands of /set home teleports, are warp commands. Plus, you can always use commandblocks to create a better portal. This doesn't even require mods. Im kinda new to modding, so now I'm looking for a mod or a way to make nether portals that you can modify to take you to custom coordinates.
