I believe in using money as a tool to help me live the life I want. If you manage and spend your money with intention, it will allow you to do some incredible things in life. And in my life, there is one mindset that I adopted that has helped me live the life I want and it is called, "The Abundance Mindset," which is, "An optimistic approach to life believing there is an abundance of opportunities and possibilities in the world.”
In this video, I want to inspire you to live with the abundance mindset and believe that opportunities and possibilities are limitless in the world. There are many traits one needs to live the abundance mindset and in this video I share five.
"5 Traits Of Living With The Abundance Mindset"
1. Willingness To Learn
As people start to get older in life, they lose their willingness to learn. Many people act like fate controls their lives and they stop learning. This makes people live stagnated lives where they're not growing personally or professionally. If you have the willingness to learn and grow from your mistakes, people genuinely want to help, and you will always have opportunities in life.
2. Failing Forward
Most of life consists of failure. And many people allow their failures to define them instead of learning from their failures. Whatever it is in life whether is financially, personally, or professionally, you will fail; however, when you have the abundance mindset, you learn from your failures and use them to help you move forward.
3. Money Management Skills
Whatever you do in life, you need money. Money is an amazing tool that can allow you to achieve incredible things in life; however, many people never learn or educate themselves on money management, so money controls their lives. In order to live with the abundance mindset, you have to manage your money and use it as a tool to help you in life.
4. Not Basing Your Life Off Statistics
If you based your life off of odds, you would miss out on a lot of things in life. The odds of achieving anything in this world are very small and, unfortunately, many people don't seek their best life due to fear of low odds. When you live with the abundance mindset, you believe that things can be achieved despite all odds.
5. Believing That It’ll Always Work Out
In my life, I have been able to do some incredible things and make many memories. And with everything that has happened in my life, it has always worked out. The scarcity mindset often prevents people from seeking the life they want due to the fear that things won't work out. However, when you live with abundance mindset, you believe in yourself and know that even if you don't get it, it'll all work out.
Once you stop learning and believing in yourself, that is when things become scares. Never stop learning and believing!

Very true, I've never had a lot of money either though I've felt wealthy. I have a home, nutritious meals, clothing, a job, family and friends. I've always gone for jobs I like over more money, created free activities for fun, like swimming at the beach, painting with watercolours at home or a bbq and a hike. I'm wealthy as all my desires are met. I very lucky because at a young age I knew what makes me happy and it was simple pleasures. I always find wealth in everything, it's abundance not scarcity! I'm 56, life has its ups and downs, no doubt that, though I'm content. Keep up the interesting, thought provoking videos.

I'm 60 years old and my advice to younger people is this all my life I've been Frugal not cheap the good thing about being Frugal is that if you lose your job you have that emergency fund I always had an emergency fund...just once I did not have an emergency fund and that year was bad..and I learned a lot I cannot stress the importance of an emergency fund..when you lose your job and you have an emergency fund you dance whistles. Sing and bounce and skip its a fun ride... when you don't you just slipped into the hell ride of your life...because asking for help can be humiliation.

We're moving forward by taking baby steps. I'm proud of our money management skills. We had an electrician tell us our homes wiring update and heat being hooked up would cost us $14,000. We managed to get it done for $2,000. My husband did most of the work.

Thank you, Mr. Austin Williams. I couldn't help but think about a little kid learning to walk with your fantastic points. Kids fall, sometimes hard, but they learn and keep trying. Again and again. Learning to walk isn't easy, but everyone has to do it once they have just crawled for a few months. Your video is powerful. Thank you for such fine content. You're amazing.

After watching this video I realised that having some money - even if not much - as a safety net to fall back on in case of difficulties, enables us to have the abundance mindset. I see a lot of people with the scarcity mindset who are depressed about the future and afraid of competition in the job market or in business; probably it is because they really don't have anything at all in the way of assets - and some of them may have enormous debt. Whereas people who have had some success in life and have accumulated some savings, generally have a more positive outlook on the future.

I appreciate your abundance mindset. I would point out that we are living in a time of exceptional abundance right now. There are more jobs and more money available at this time than there has been in years, and it is not something that I take for granted. I am more inclined to work and accumulate money now, when it is easy to do so. I will be less inclined to work when jobs and money become very scarce, because I will get much less for my efforts. I think we both agree that money is not everything.

Thanks Austin for this Video, I really enjoyed. I agree with you, there must be trust. To have trust is easy in the good times, more difficult is when someone has hard time. To find the trust that everything has its own reason is in my opinion essential - doesn't matter if we discuss money mindset or relationships. Big greetings from Europe 😊 from someone who is living in 4th country - guess why? Because I can ✨️

Abundance mindset only works when the very basics are met e.g. clean water, nutritious food, shelter and access to healthcare. Otherwise I agree with all you say. The problem in the West is Corporations who poison our water, degrade our food, price homes out of reach. This is disasterous for humans and should not be allowed. However, malignant greed rules at the moment and no tech toy will ever make up for not having access to the basics. Our ancestors at least had food and a hovel to live in. Today, people are under bridge and dying while the powerful look away and blame them for a reckless economic model.

I use stats as a way to justify doing something instead of not doing something. I ask myself "what are the odds that [worst case scenario] will happen?" It's pretty low. People think I am incredibly brave for riding my bike everywhere. Well the odds of getting hit on a side street or a bike path are relatively low. I have a greater chance of getting a flat tire. OMG you said hi to the drug addict by the dollar store, weren't you afraid? No, I said hi and he said hi and our interaction was over and ne did not stab me or threaten me, he just commented on the weather (Canadian here, we do that a lot). A lot of people when they get paid think "what can I buy?" I always ask "what can I not buy." I think that's just my way of thinking as I don't make a lot of money and I challenge myself not not spend. It's my way of stickin' it to the man even though technically I work for the man.
