I could be wrong but in my opinion, if you beat a small child to death, you should NEVER have the chance to do that again. It’s not what you WILL DO… it’s what you are CAPABLE of doing. Just like a pit bull.. my son’s GF has one. It is not allowed at our home around our pets without a muzzle. Not because of what he has done but because of what he is CAPABLE of doing. @@jenniferrussell3083 the person who said "anyone can go to school for free" is likely a conservative azz (must spell it that way to ensure comment is posted) who thinks we can all create this easy, straight-forward path if we just "know how to do it." What a crock of sh *t, I say that because going to a university, college, training school, etc. for free is typically only an option if you're a) eligible to apply for scholarships, which have requirements often to EVEN apply and b) WIN/RECEIVE said scholarship to fund your education. I remember applying to a few scholarships, and they were for small amounts of money (like a grand, that's it) and just for those scholarships I had to write like a 2,000 word essay on some b.s. topic, I think like one was how I wanted to contribute to society once I received a degree. Of course I made it up, who doesn't. In addition to the headache and annoyance of applying for scholarships you may qualify to receive grants. If this seems more likely in your situation, I would focus on getting grants via federal aid (which has a website with resources and the application info) but grants depend on your location, family's financial info and background, & whether or not you have direct access to affording tuition based on household income. It's exhausting but it enables you to go to college and/or community college. So it's worth it. And remember, student Loans have a low-interest rate and if MAGA doesn't regain office, your loan may be forgiven since it'll be a student loan. Just bc I paid for my schooling doesn't mean you should have to, as I don't whine and think just bc I had to pay everyone else should. people are so selfish. Another rant for another day. good luck in all honesty, you'll navigate this process and find a solution that works for you, I know it!

UNTIL.... she gets bored of him or moves on to the next idiot.... BUT, for her to say "she ONLY did drugs a few times"....and if that happens to be true....then SHES DEFINITELY MORE SCARIER THAN I THOUGHT!!! @@acausevic1 murdering your own child is absolutely unforgivable!! I don't care if she had a mental breakdown she still murdered her own child.. a mother is supposed to protect her child at all cost even if it means she sacrificed herself to keep her child safe and she did the exact opposite of that, and chose to intentionally take her child's life and tried to obstruct justice from being served.. so she didn't want to go to prison for murdering her own child.. parenting is hard at times but at the end of the day, most parents dont go out killing their kids.. I never intended on having a child, and never had the patience for kids but having a child of my own now is the greatest blessing and I couldnt Imagine life without my child, and I have absolutely no regrets about having and keeping my son, 14 years later..with all of the struggles, and the negatives of having a child-the positives outweigh the negatives of parenting by a long shot and I managed even with working 2 jobs, going to school being a parent and taking care of my dad who is paralyzed from the waist down.. so theres no excuse for any parent to kill their kids.. The whole point of parole hearings is to see if the person can be integrated back into society. What is the purpose of it if you’re just going to attack the person for their crime? They are already in jail for the crime. You’re forgetting what the parole purpose is. It’s not to retry and convict the person again. Ok maybe I'm a weirdo but why does this woman look like an alien wearing a human suit or something? I don't know, maybe it's that the words aren't matching up while she talks and it's throwing me off, but it's like a weird uncanny valley thing, like she doesn't quite look like a real human

@@wrenns7a lot of times infants and very young children are put up for adoption or end up in the system without their biological dad knowing or sometimes even being able to have a say in raising them. Though usually that’s usually more so in infant private adoption from what I understand.

It was odd to have only one board member present to question her, then bring the answers and video to the rest of the board for a vote in weeks?!? That just doesn't make sense to me. Louisiana board members are all present, can ask questions at the time, then vote with everything fresh in their minds. The Louisiana process makes much more sense to me.

She can’t be sealed to her husband in the Mormon temple. What she said her long term goal was. When you commit murder you can’t be ‘sealed for time and all eternity’ in the Mormon religion. Their doctrine states that only god can forgive you….and only in the afterlife not while on the earth.

That interview you think is bland tells a.lot if you work in the criminal system. She answers the questions according to her course outline. No general personal answering, no accountability and the parole board do take everything into consideration in their review. They will check all her in custody behaviour etc... There is so much more you can gather from this interview. PAROLE DENIED would be my prediction.

A horrible decision to let her out…the guy from the parole board did a terrible job here…..I didn’t believe a word she said. And she had already gotten a reduced charge since she got a plea deal from the start. I do not have any faith in parole boards…don’t think this guy asked the questions he should have. And I agree he seemed to be more concerned about hurting her feelings & being gentle with her. No one is speaking up on that poor child’s behalf….as usual. We don’t hold people accountable. Don’t know who I was more disappointed & fed up with…her or him. I think they probably already knew they were going to parole her….gotta have that space. Why they even have the sentences they do anyway because very seldom does anyone get the max no matter how horrible the crime. 15 yrs I think she did for beating that poor child. Sorry but I think she should have spent another 5-10 yrs. And the fact she got to plead to something less is also disturbing….so many plea deals for terrible crimes…you get to pretty much choose your own punishment. And this girl had been fighting except the past 3 years.
