This looks like a really quality hi-tech bike, at a bargain price right now. I have a 12 sp hardtail carbon fiber from these folks, best prices, QUALITY, great back up service and advice, but just excellent engineering and durability. @@bikesonline I have a budget for 1k and am new to mountain biking. Just want my best bang for my buck. 40 y/o so not looking to get too crazy. Would be nice to have something entry level with quality components that I don’t need to fix often. Would also be nice if it’s possible to have a bike that I can replace the wheels and go from trail to a more relaxed pavement/dirt. Thank you.

These bikes are so affordable it makes me a bit nervous of the frame integrity.

The affordability comes from factors some brands can’t offer. Polygon manufactures their own frames, where most brands have to hire a company to do it for them. Combine that with the direct to consumer business model, and savings are maxed out with an equivalent product.
