It doesn't look like she actually planned this as a "move". She planted her foot but it slipped. Very impressive athleticism nevertheless!

That hurt, she just isn't showing it. She got a bit too much momentum built up before the lunge so she over extended her front leg and it came down hard. For those of you who don't know fencing well, a good lunge isn't so telegraphed. It's quick and sudden. It's super easy to accidentally overextend a lunge, even more so once your body has gotten used to the explosive movements. So seeing that leg so high and drop down with that speed and over extension? Yeah that never feels good.

@ahmadhegazi8250
@ahmadhegazi8250 2 жыл бұрын
@@noot3315 correct, it not at all her fault. It’s a 3v3 team, after a team hits 15 points both teams rotate players, then again at 30 points, then you switch to your last player and play until you hit 45. So the last person in your team is the “anchor”, and generally always the best player bc they can bring your team back if you have a deficit (though this one’s a bit too large of a deficit) or most consistently close it out if you’re ahead. So when she started playing the opposing team already had 30 points
