@AccidentallyOnPurpose4 ай бұрын
Not even wash, often it's okay to just sanitize them and wipe them, that should be the bare minimum.
@nobodysummonsmegatron2 ай бұрын
I was wondering that too. I'm not a MUA, but why wouldn't there be multiple clean sets to get the salon through the day and then wash them at the end of the day or wash them between clients? Seems like cleaning them daily should be standard practice for the salon. And they should be using disposable applicators for some of the products even.

I used to get my nails done at an Asian shop and they were always talking about all the customers in their native language. You just KNOW that they’re talking about you. It’s awkward and uncomfortable. Very unprofessional. Now my cousin does my nails. She works at a salon here in town so she has done my nails and hair for the last 10+ years. It’s so much nicer! Do not feel bad or insecure about your skin tone beautiful Judy! Just think they are jealous and trying to put you down to make themselves feel better! I was told growing up the UK how pale pasty I was all the time. It was only when I was late teens, when my mother and I went to Thailand and Dubai did my perspective change. I realised that depending on where you live in the world, pale skin was seen as beautiful. I was told how gorgeous my skin tone was, that it was like milk, ivory, porcelain and more compliments. In Thailand they kept congratulating my mother, saying she must be so proud having a daughter with such pale skin. It was a revelation. I knew, that for thousands of years, beauty standards were to have pale white skin through many cultures but it wasn't until the 20th century and then tanned skin became the norm in the west. I came home no longer being ashamed and embraced it, stopped using fake tan or sun tanning to try and fit in.

CONGRATULATIONS on finally receiving your award, its long over due. You should have gotten it a few yrs ago, thank you for always having a great attitude and for putting your face thru hell and back just for us!!! Despite all of the horrible makeup applications you have managed to keep your face from being a safe haven for bacteria and ruining your skin, just so we can have something to watch. I know everyone appreciates your sacrifice and the pain you sometimes go thru. We love and respect all you do for us.
