The simple message is that - As a fresher strengthen your Fundamentals and set realistic timelines. No need to get overwhelmed by fancy technologies. You all will eventually learn it as you gain professional experience or after strengthening your fundamentals. Three years ago, same happened with me as well. I went for Akash counselling, and they asked me how much do I think I will get in my 10th boards... I said about 95%. Listening to this, they made me feel like I am a loser, and I can't even clear 10th without their respective course. Thank you di, for acknowledging this !

That's actually really true ...I even took such a capsule course ....when I entered the first day as a complete fresher ....the only thing I felt was inferiority....I left learning from such space which made me feel like I am running behind and I am not smart enough to learn all that. That byjus example felt really hard it was so relatable when I came back home my parents asked why I was unable to solve. The counsellor even said that the problem can be solved by any student of his institution.. Everything was same just institution was different.

It makes people accept the change through pressure and enables someone somewhat a fomo to accept those things inform of you for example it could be between your friends, your group of friends might say if you dont this new game you won't be a cool kid.

This is exactly what I have been feeling for the past few months now...I have started learning web development recently and whoever I come across among my fellow peers are all like masters in this field already but the saddest part is even if they are so, very few are willing to help when needed which makes us feel even more dumb as freshers...Thank you di for raising this issue , really got back some confidence in continuing to learn the fundamentals.

This needed to be addressed. Even as an experienced lad, I get to hear I didn't do any good if I'm not on the same floor as my peers. I had to change my domain multiple times due to this inferiority complex issue.

What you've said is right, but you need to understand that even small startups are getting influenced by these trends and asking System Design, Devops, advanced CP, etc. for no reason to freshers. For someone from tier 3 with no job whatsoever, it's better to be safe and prepare rather than be negligent and remain unemployed.

This is so true, but in a market like this inferiority complex becomes so inevitable for new grads like us. I’m doing my UG in US, and the job descriptions for just software internships themselves are so intimidating, that we never know what is to be done and what is not to be done for interviews. Getting harder and harder to even clear the resume screening round, let alone do an interview for a company.

Very well said, fundamentals are very important. They develop the correct logical thinking and problem solving. Today the words terraform, docker, kubernetes are trending. By the time today's freshers reach the mid senior level these technologies will be replaced by something else.
