I got one too. I imported the white one to the UK before Casio announced a UK release. I bought the blue one from Casio UK. Great watches. I love that Casio even makes special boxes for many releases.

Another fantastic one - matching the creativity and happiness of the Manga G. I also bought one (240$ on chrono24 2 weeks ago)… That’s a bit weird to say but since I follow you I feel you’re a kind of « horological brother » our collections have a lot in common despite being atypical. I pre-ordered the white one when I first saw it announced. It's such a cool and different design, I absolutely love it. Both of my nephews have already tried to talk me into giving it to them 😂 Not today boy's, not today!

I think It’s a watch mostly for collectors and hard-core G-Shock enthusiasts ! I can’t imagine wearing it in public with everyone around me staring at my wrist with their eyebrows raised (“What on earth is he wearing ? Isn’t he a little too old to be wearing that kids’ watch ?”) !!

I still love my LV reverse monogram mamacoo clutch! It's versatile, fits a variety of items, and is definitely a workhorse! I think seeing it everywhere (like the LV speedy) is proof that it's already a classic.

I bought both and kept the blue. Imo the blue actually works better. In person it is just an amazing pop. Worked well for me as the white one seems more popular and goes for almost $100 more so made some money lol

The printing on the caseback is not kanji, its katakana (mordern "alphabets" for non-traditional japanese words), it says トﾞンッ or Don~tsu, meaning thump or boom

I ordered the blue one as I like blue but now watching this vid, I must add the white as well. I love this release. I usually just stick to square gshocks but I don't mind this model. I'm sure Casio will release more colors as time goes on seeing just how popular this series already is. I hope we get a US release though. Lucky UK fans got a domestic release...

6:12 The letter is not kanji (Chinese character used in Japan) but katakana 'ドン (don)' or 'ドンッ(don!).' It is an onomatopoeic word representing the sound made when something like drum is struck.
