Heads up to the anti-destroyers, today I used a Hazmat and Absorbing Man on Wong to get their Deadpool to a -8 that they turned into -16 with their Venom that also chomped it's way to a beautiful -2.

LOL loving that the Daken and Muramasa pronunciation is such a debate among all the youtubers ^-^. I know "daken" is like Japanese slang for like "mutt" or "mongrel", so always just thought his name was pronounced like that (the way the word is said, with the "ah" sound not the "aye" sound). Thank you for your vid! Love all the possible Daken synergies you're sharing! I'm a new player and just broke the Pool 3 barrier so can never really make these full decks, but love learning about the different strats and possible cards to look out as I move up.

@cozysnap I'm a huge fan of destroy and I have the feeling that SD adds more cards that benefits from destroying but we only have 3 tools to destroy cards below 5 energy. I have this crazy idea came from a past video of yours regarding buffing some cards. What if these unplayable cards like, Yellowjacket or Electra & Angel will be revamped and become tools to destroy like Carnage&Venom. Imagine 0 cost destroy card (its broken ik but imagine). Anyway, if someone can make this happen its you. Thanks for the videos and all, keep it up man you are great. Also, happy birthday!!!

Gambit is back! I can’t remember all the cards but it mostly consists of morbius, Wong, mystique, and daken. Just throw daken into a Wong/mystique and then gambit at the end to destroy their side of the board

I think Daken is another great addition to the destroy/Surfer archetype because in combination of Killmonger and Surfer you can get Daken to 12 power (14 if you also have Nova). Destroy also has good 3 drops like Deathlok, Sabertooth, Killmonger, Nagasonic, Venom and of course Daken. So now I do feel like that archetype can actually function well.

I just managed to get FOUR Dakens on Bar Sinister with this deck......at 145 power each!!! Doubt it'll ever happen again so definitely screen-shotted that bad boy!

I put daken with phoenix force and was able to bring back the sword to destroy it again and double the power twice. This doesn’t happen often and it definitely shouldn’t be relied on but it was awesome

I was using Phoenix force with multiple man and daken. In the destroy shell and I'm loving it. Absorbing man doesn't double with daken and that feels bad. But daken is mint

Gotta day Cozy, I enjoy my Discard/destroy Daken deck (aka Dake 'N Bake). Your deck can get big doing destroy but I think discard is harder for an opponent to counter (examples like armor or cosmo).

Honestly, that bundle is just obscene. ~$100 for a few cosmetics and some credits. Almost made me as mad as the Death Becomes Her bundle - another one with a card back and variant I would want to target but for some reason gets held hostage behind paying $75 for boosters.

I believe the correct pronunciation is Dah-kem in Japan words are broken into syllables so it would be broken into Da Ke and then the sylabic n, which makes an em sound so Da Ke M.

Like your pronunciation of the card better than the dayken people say, but you make the “a” sound very aggressive . It’s more of just an smooth “ah” sound than the AAH-ken. Dah-ken. Bc it’s Japanese (as you mentioned) so their vowels are always pronounced: ah eh ee oh oo. Enough of the Japanese lesson another great video. Thank you cozy 👍.

Daken only the second season pass ive ever purchased and hes been a LOT of fun. So far, ive had the most fun and success was a Surfer Destroy build. Already got to mid 70s w that deck. This is going to be a fun season for sure

Armor and cosmo is really heavy now I had to get out any destroy related decks and went to a doubl evo she hulk instead. Cosmo and armor are giving those destroy decks hell..better stay out those decks until things change

That might work well when X-23 comes out to give us some extra energy to play with, but I think for now the problem with Knull is you want to have energy on turn 6 to play taskmaster, deadpool, a destroy card, and/or death if she isn't discounted to 0. Knull taking up your entire turn 6 just often isn't worth it, especially given how nothing in this deck puts out huge destroy numbers like it would in say, shuri nimrod.

I kinda like beast, you can pick up deadpool and carnage. Carnages stats will then carry over next time he eats stuff. So you can normally get him 9+ power easily

Any pool 1 and 2 cards to replace the Taskmaster with? I've been contemplating buying the season pass but I don't know if I'm just missing some pieces to make Daken work properly. Been pretty lucky with my cache pulls and I have Death, Venom and Deadpool. No Taskmaster yet sadly.

I've actually been loving him in Surf and Destroy, replacing Bucky or Sabertooth depending on if you play Knull (Destroying Sabertooth often is huge for Knull). His shard is easy carnage/Killmonger fodder and he also gets the plus 2 from Surfer
