Actually, the drone in the main menu is an EXISTING X-47B UCAS drone. The one playable is a fictional drone that has features from the X-47B and the Russian S-70

this might blow your mind but you can actually fly low to just lose the missile lock if you fly behind any cover

Fun fact - the drone seems to be based on the Russian Sukhoi S-70 Okhotnik (Hunter) drone which is being prototyped rn. Also… Thanks for reminding me how great Ace Combat soundtracks are! 👍

I think something they could do to balance the more powerful vehicles like this and prevent whoring is like BF4 had. Some vehicles and stuff are tied to specific objectives. That way if you or anyone on your team want to use the powerful "thing" they have to take that specific objective. Also prevents, to a lesser degree, people from being quite so useless. Lol I personally think they did it pretty well on Silk Road in BF4. You have to take the objective, its a stationary trailer your character entered, a screen pops up as alarms start going off and you're piloting the bomber. After you drop your bombs it kicks you from the trailer thingy and it enters a cooldown. VERY powerful, especially against infantry and tanks, but you didn't have to worry about getting farmed by it constantly.

The stealth will only prevent lock ons from starting or continuing, not deterring active and launched missiles

i used the stealth bomber today and was going crazy, got a quad followed by multiple multi-kills. Its really good, only thing that sucks is the lack of flares, and the fact the AA stinger is ridiculous makes the experience even more fun

In a game where everyone plays engineer class, lock ons , and minium 3 AA tanks on map ... to release a jet with literally 0 defense against lock ons until hundreds of kills is a very very.... odd decision .. the kills needed to unlock the damn upgrades is insane.. also the bombs are very underwhelming on the jet..
