so vics pointblank is one of the best minecraft gun mods of all the time and today i decided to compare this mod to another...one of the best minecraft gun mods of all the time. timeless and classic zero.

Genuinely confused why the scopes don't work for you. We've seen multiple people report this issue but we still haven't found what exactly causes it. To try replicating this problem so we can fix it, we've tried: switching versions of the shaderpack, switching versions of embeddium, switching computers, sifting through different settings in the shaderpack, and sifting through settings in embeddium--none of it has caused the bug for us. If anybody here knows what's causing the white scope bug, please let me know. It's disappointing that we spent so much time into making it work, and then for some people it doesn't work anyway. I'd really like to get this fixed if at all possible. EDIT: After some additional testing, we've discovered this is an incompatibility with TACZ. Here's what causes the bug: by itself, the scopes in VPB will work up until you use a scope from the TACZ mod (you actually don't need to use it, you just need to install it on a TACZ gun). Doing this will permanently break the scopes in VPB, forcing a restart.

Insanity shaders also cause my scope to be completely black when aiming down medium to long range scopes thankfully the small scopes work fine, lol. Great mod btw!

@@ninetailedfoxcommander3627 That is an unrelated issue caused by different things. The PIP scope uses a shader provided by Oculus, and each shaderpack uses that shader differently, and so we'll see different results. What's happening with TACZ is different; they use stencil tech for their scopes, which is extremely finicky tech and it also changes the game's render buffer, which causes some permanent breaks in different places.

Yes you can have TACZ/TAC and Point Blank. Set some keybind conflicts but they work togheter perfectly.

The attachment system is not the best, but simple to use. (Once I attached all scopes I can find in the mod to a single gun in fmum, surprisingly all of them works)
