Its that not only are the rell brothers making it so its going to be good but we have already seen sneaks showing that the game will in fact be good. also you are forgetting that by roblox standards this is one of if not the best game to ever release on the platform. this will blow everything else out of the water

Im honestly in favor of what they did with my hero games, should be done a lot more too Biggest problem with roblox is that they value microtransactions instead of creativity so trashy anime games will always stay on top. If they cant straight up rip stuff from anime anymore, they might start getting creative to survive

Never in my life i've seen Phighting, Hours, or even stuff more tame like lore game or veloi.xolo in the front page cause Roblox as a platform wont favor games if they make no revenue. And roblox is mot wrong in doing that, but it is kinda lame. So i much rather they copyright strike every anime game they can, cause the ones that will be left after the purge will at leastbe creative enough to avoid copyright.

@@ZawaitoBrother front page games are front page games because they get a lot of engagement, transactions may factor into that but definitely not that much. Deepwoken was on the front page for the longest time when it dropped and that was when it's player count was in the 10 thousands. Even Rogue was on the front page for a long time because it was actually a popular game. And those two games have like 1 or 2 micro transactions. All those games you named are most likely games that no one has ever heard of and has a small playerbase. It seems like majority of you people still think anime games are the most popular games on roblox and thats just simply not true, they are actually a minority and a very niche category. Roblox is still targeted towards kids, kids are easy to engage with, so people make games that will capture a kids attention, keep it, and give them things that look appealing to buy. The only time a decent game in this niche or something similar like deepwoken, is on the front page, is on release, after it's generated it's hype. Once the hype dies down, engagement goes down, and when engagement goes down, the game isn't gonna be on the front page anymore.

The One Piece IP was never officially stated to be $10 million, nor did they say they will take 80%. Quite a few developers joined this podcast with a corporate lawyer and a few other people that could never give you a real number as it wouldn't be helpful to you. The number can change depending upon usage. From what I know, people just said "$10 million for an IP" when they're really not sure. Percentagewise, the bigger company always takes the most they can if the game is based on their IP. We were all cracking jokes in the chat saying that it would cost over 8 figures which is not unrealistic for an anime such as One Piece. TL;DR : This news changes nothing honestly. We know that IPs cost a lot but nobody from Crunchyroll / Toei themselves had publicly stated that they would take 80% and $10 million for a One Piece game.

@@Klextr000that’s actually the lie, if you actually looked into it. Gamefam and astd has a partnerships with world 3. This partnership did end a while back but gamefam still owns a small stake in astd business wise. They most likely didn’t even tell astd they were gonna send a list of games to Crunchyroll to dmca and gamefam simply ignored astd because they do own a small amount of the game but nothing to really have full control over astd. Fruity didn’t have anything to do with the dcmas and neither did any other astd dev

No, this doesn’t work as if you’re getting signed to a label. You do not get any boost from the IP owners other than being able to use their property legally. And no one on roblox cares that much
