I always overlooked the arm wrestling minigame because my eyes were always down at the OVER 110 MINIGAMES text at the bottom. But I think that might be the best (button spamming) minigame. Sure, we've had minigames where you press AGAINST the other side, but usually when that kind of game happens, it's tug of war, which was getting boring, but this time it was arm wrestling. And though it's a simple idea, it's still cool and new to Mario Party! Plus, they're giant robot arms.

While I'm not as excited for the Nintendo stuff the same way as everyone else, I am surprised that Fairy Tail is getting another game because the first one was only on PS4 and only went over the Tenrou Island, The Tournament, the Tartaros Dark Guild & Avatar Arcs. This new one goes over the War Arc, which is the final arc of the original series' run. The Fairy Tail Manga is still going with the 100 Years Quest. Fairy Tail was also heavily inspired by Echiro Oda & the late Akira Toriyama.

Also, _Legend of Zelda Echoes of Wisdom,_ the first brand new 2-D Zelda game since... goodness... _A Link Between Worlds_ from 2013? It looks fun, and it's about time we actually got to play as Zelda in a mainline _Zelda_ game. I was kind of expecting the _Oracle_ games to be remade, but it's awesome that we have a new 2-D _Zelda_ game coming relatively soon! Maybe we'll get _Oracle_ remakes on the Switch successor. The 2D-HD remakes of _Dragon Quest I-III_ look very nice. I've really liked how the Square Enix 2D-HD games have looked, but I never found the time to pick them up. I really need to someday. _DKC Returns_ is finally coming to Switch, and that makes me happy. We'll finally have all of the _DKC_ games on Switch! Sadly, it looks like we won't be getting a brand new _Donkey Kong_ until the Switch successor arrives. I hope we'll get a new 3-D game for it! Again, finally. _Metroid Prime 4_ gameplay, and it looks gorgeous! I've really enjoyed playing the remaster of the first game, and it looks like I'll enjoy this one, too! I hope that _Echoes_ and _Corruption_ will be brought over so that we'll have all 4 _Metroid Prime_ games in one place. I'd assume they'll be brought over like _Pikmin 1 and 2_ were. Staight forward, "up-rezed" ports of the Wii versions in a double pack for $50. Overall, it's a pretty darn good final Nintendo Direct for the Switch.

I thought Sonic X Shadow Generations would be the most hype game this year but M&L immediately took that title. I am beyond hyped.
