Few words of caution before you thinking of buying this thing; no armor so autocannons will feast on you, no lrf or thermals, you are the only stabilized vehicle until 8.7 bar the Gepard for Germany while facing USSR and China which is just horrible, great vehicle but only if played with a brain

@@verstappen9937 it doesn't have a laser rangefinder, night view or thermals, it doesn't have any meaningful armor, the HEAT-FS is not that good (only the APDS is good, but that's still not APFSDS), when the ready rack runs out you have to wait until it replenishes and you can't fire until then, the elevation is not good enough to hit plane with the 30MM, only low flying helis and the tank is tall enough to peak above some cover, but since you have no armor on the turret you'll die anyway and of course you have no smoke shells or smoke launcher. i'm not saying the tank is bad but it doesn't belong above 8.0, the only good thing about it is the autoloader, the stabilized gun and the mobility, the 30MM is a plus in "some" cases but it's offset to the right so you can't accurately and reliably destroy enemy barrels with it. also most of the time you'll fight uptiers at this BR, and the more modern tanks can chew you easily. the real monster tank is the T-55AM1 at 8.3 because it has every ammo, armor (the turret eats HEAT-FS and APDS for breakfast) and enough mobility to destroy anything even in uptiers.

It’s a really interesting vehicle, it has thin turret packed with ammo and the 2/3 crew members making the turm 3 very fragile. It has a massive 30MM coaxial and it’s a autoloader that can fire some nice HEAT rounds , it’s mobility is decent and last but not least, it’s German.

Yeah it trades survivability for extreme firepower, let’s say it’s a much better Lorraine 40t at a slightly higher br, if you are accustomed to the amx family you will love this thing

@AnnoyingPigeon I wish. The t54e1 is sitting at 8.0 without a 20mm coaxial, and without a stabilizer, and is probably slower, though I can't confirm the last one.
