You are so welcome! Thank you so much for being YOU, my friend! Lol, this was so fun! Draping is a fun technique. I got some good tips from viewers about using dowels or bobbie pins to hold the fabric. The portraits I put up really complete this space 🫶🏽🥰❤️

Oh, yes! We adore you, Miss Gretchen! Both of these channels(along with Queen City, Bentley House, and a few others)are so inspiring because of the imagination and creativity behind their artists. I love my 3d printer, but I don’t rely on it because it takes away from the imagination and artistic expression, IMO. Thank you all for letting us share in our miniature love!

Thank you so much for such a sweet comment. We adore you all as well. I love this community. I want a 3d printer, but only for small accessories that I won't have to buy and I can share in my shop. Or pieces I can make easy on my hands. Lol. Thank you so much for your support,🥰❤️

Thank you so much🤣🤭 Draping is super fun, whether it's blankets for bedding, curtains, or clothes. Just don't use too much solution. I've learned my lesson and will be showing what I mean when I get to Ms. Margo's bedroom. Lol❤️🥰

Brilliant Jolene! I adore Gretchen and her ideas and methods. Her lovely, warm personality seems to take the fear out of trying new techniques. I also love the ageing and wood panelling behind the wallpaper, it really heightens the realism of the scene. I found you through Gretchen and since I picked up my miniature hobby after a break of around 18 months, I found a whole, new community of miniature artists and fans and the personalities of the creators, Gretchen, yourself, Shyra and many more newer channels are so helpful, interesting and entertaining. I think Ara Bentley spawned a whole new generation of miniature lovers in the short break I had. I love you all and the continuous stream of new, and forgotten, ideas makes this the best artistic community online❤ Thank you everyone!

That is so kind and very true. I agree 💯. After being a veiwer for years. I couldn't stand to just sit and watch any long wishing I could do a channel. I finally had the chance and time to put it all together. And now I hardly have any time to just sit and watch..lol Thank you so much for your support, this is the best community and extremely talented. Ara is a blessing!🥰❤️

Lol ..I hope this doesn't cause a relapse! 🤣 Miss Margo had company for a few months with Sophelia, she was just temporarily boarding at The Josephine House. She has left us this morning, to begin her new life.😮‍💨 I was going to mention it in my next video. But I sent her along with a key to my heart attached to her Authentication Card. Bittersweet but super excited for her.❤️🥰

Perfect! They look very pretty, though old. I don't like the pin holes either. I haven't done it myself, but if I was going to, I would try covering the gathers with a strip of masking tape, or clipping them with clips. If that smashed them too much, you could remove the tape or clips before they hardened too much and fluff them up a little. Or you could glue a strip of ribbon on top of the gathers to cover them, or later to hide the pin holes. ❤

Wonderful video!!! Such lovely curtains!!! For the pin holes.... it was suggested in a class I took to buy some specimen pins, the kind used to pin butterflies and other insects for displays. They are SUPER SUPER THIN THIN THIN! They don't leave holes, BUT..... you have to push them into the fabric holding them VERY close to the sharp end of each pin. Otherwise they BEND TOTALLY in half, and some will break (trust me on this :D ). I found them on Amazon and Ebay.

Miniatures with Josje uses chopsticks and various thicknesses of dowels, or paint brush handles etc to pleat and gather her curtains. They have to be longer than your fabric and I think she tapes them on each end to hold them in place. I'm not really sure how to explain that and I can't find the video that examples the process.

Beautiful curtains, I will give you one tip on how I make my curtains. I can’t give you all of my tricks now 😅 because tomorrow I am going to be uploading my first video on my channel and I have a curtain tutorial coming up 😅sorry To eliminate the pin holes, use small bobby pins and start your curtains at the top of the cardboard to secure the bobby pins on the edge that way you can control the pleats to the same size and they lay perfectly flat with no holes 😊
