What a pleasure to watch Norm work.

Wow, "screw-nails," "shim-shingles" and a "power miter box." Love seeing these old episodes, a few cringe moments based on current building science, but of course I love that Bob is actually doing a bit of the work himself rather than just pointing to Norm doing it all. What was cutting-edge in 1982 looks like a showcase of regrettable decisions to later eyes, but constant remodeling has been good for the trades. On Google this house is still there and has been remodeled extensively since, sunroom is now just regular roof and the main house sprouted a second story, different windows throughout, etc.
