1 thing to note about Medicham ex is it only attacks the Active, while Tsareena ex attacks any mon in play.

Honestly something to consider is Memory dive Relicanth with the Blim. Can still use the Drifloons attack and also everyone explode now

Yea honestly balloons might be its own deck. Play it with Xatu and get extra energy in play and draw and it could be nasty

That Marowak could be an interesting attacker if you combine with the 151 Cubone that boosts Marowak's damage by 30. Silly goofy strat, but fun nonetheless

Azul thinks the togedemaru will see competitive play as a closer. He wasn't sure where it would fit yet but because the paralyze isn't on a coin flip you can consistently lock the active assuming they are out of switch. The lightning energy might make it awkward though.

Excited for Ceruledge ex to help out Armarouge ex…in theory. Usually it’s very risky to use as an attacker early because you load it up with all your Fire energy and if it gets KO’d it’s hard to get that much energy on the board. Usually you’d save it for last. But now you can use it first and still have this Ceruledge ex to follow up. But I’m not sure if it will hit for enough as 10 energy in discard is only 230

The berry cards are a really cool idea and would be fun to put in decks if you're worried about popular weakness. I think the problem though is 60 doesnt seem like enough.

Medicham might be good in Dragapult for it's Charizard matchup. Bring pigeot or zard low without knocking it out, so you don't boost their damage but can get multiple KOs with Dragapult next turn

I’d like to see a future mix with the Chan/energy switch/poppy? Something janky like iron juggulas for its first attack for 50dmg X 3 targets. Or it just sets up an iron hands ?

Swalot + Janine + Binding Mochi. You can do 210 damage for one energy from a one prizer. Sounds like a fun rogue deck 😁 I really love Swalot. I'm so happy it got a really fun card.

while medicham have lower output, it is stage 1 so easier to setup. Not that bad especially if we combine with some basic attacker that can do 50 damage with one energy

Glass trumpet will be broken with Blissey ex, you can just attach and instantly switch the energy over. Plus blissey is a bad gust target due to insane HP and if they try to trap it you can switch energy onto it AND get draw support!

Ok i like blissey but let's think here. You need terrastal in active, basics in discard and blisseys + munkidoris on bench. Hardly think this sounds better than current build

I wasn't envisioning a munkidori build, I was thinking more along the lines of energy acceleration. Especially with the new "sky field" where bench space isn't an issue. For example, turbo Darkrai (my all time favorite deck) with 2 blisseys and a tera hoopa on bench satisfies conditions for glass trumpet. 4 Glass trumpet + 4 dark patch + Darkrai VStar ability + Janine's secret technique would create some absolutely crazy energy acceleration

That Inspiration Challenge Slowbro card sounds like a potential fun gimmick deck. Nothing competitive, but it does sound fun. For just 1 energy, you may use any attack, and there are some reasonably hard hitting no rule box Pokemon, so it may catch some people off-guard. Perfect for bad deck Friday?

Medicham ex will probably pair with dusclops and sylveon ex can be in lzb and it auto wins lugia because it can bring 2 archeops in the deck

I started playing competitively in the sword and shield era. I don’t remember disruption and control being so prevalent as it is now. It’s like they’re printing mostly control and disruption cards and it’s feeling kinda annoying.

My Greninja ex deck has a particularly bad matchup against Gardevoir, to the extent that it’s the only real reason it sucks, and Payapa berry really isn’t going to help, because what sucks is Cresselia and the weakness 380-60 is still 330 so it doesn’t block Gardy’s easy one shot on Greninja

Are you running greninja ex with froslass or pidgeot? I unfortunately don’t run into gardy much on live, thought I also don’t play enough games to get a chance to play one, but I felt the froslass pings do add up and makes it not such a terrible matchup. It doesn’t make the matchup favored by any means but was just wondering how you were running your deck

It's too bad it's not something like, when the pokemon this card is attached to is affected by psychic weakness, ignore weakness, then discard this card. Doesn't seem any more difficult to implement.

@@fuzzywuzzy229 I’m running Froslass too, trust me, there is literally nothing you can do about how hard Cresselia counters it, all the damage you put on the board just fuelling its attacks and removing the Froslass easily like nothing
