It looks similar to a list Jebas was running early this set. I used to play it at my local league and it was a tone of fun. Like you said though, it's not for the faint of hearts and is difficult to pilot. I'm super happy to see that someone was able to make this deck shine in a tournament. 👏🏆

Haha I do think the list has a good amount of room for optimisation, but the core is so good for current matchup spread.

Started playing almost a week ago and been trying to make a more consistent Pabbie deck and this list came like fallen from heaven. Already got to 80% win rate on bronze (8/2). Did move a little the numbers and did space for 2 belles (4) and they worked amazing with this build. Let you build lore between "be prepared"s when the opponent doesn't have board to use them. Again, thanks :D

Hehe getting the hang of it. Just won with tamatoa with 9 items. Hand still holding 2 be prepared, pabbie , lady termaine and more 😆😆😆 Opponent was topdecking. Yeah he surrendered 😆😆😆

I tried it .. yeah I won once. Deck is fun to play. But when your mulligan is wrong, its hard to find the basic items :(

@@AlphosNZ yeah winrate is not so great. Although when you hit the combos , the end blow is fun , like getting lore of Pabbie to reach 20, keep recyling cards, play be prepared twice sometimes 3x 😆😆😆

It really doesn't work. It relies on a far too expensive character that's uninkable. It catches people off guard, that's it. Maybe Inklands will fix that, and the deck definitely has potential and I'm working on a build myself. But again, it's so easy to just ignore Pabbie.

It only requires 16 ink for the combo to be played entirely from hand. It's very consistent due to the draw & ramp engine.

@@AlphosNZ 🤣 Anyone with any amount of competence in card games, who has seen this at least once, will have already won by then. Or they will have cards in hand to shut it down. I'm not saying this to hate on the deck. The first time that I saw a variation of this deck, I was genuinely caught off guard. But the Pabbie still died to removal, and I simply prevented healing from happening by ignoring my opponent's board and questing. Like I said, I think that it's probably a solid archetype to work on, but I expect that it needs something more to truly be competitive. That may or may not show up in Inklands.

@@Xoulrath_ The pabbie can't die to removal if you play it from your hand. You win before they get a turn to remove it with the combo.

@@Xoulrath_ The opponent also doesn't need to damage your cards, you damage your own cards with Teeth, Gothel & Launch. 2 Pabbies & 1 Teeth is 16 Lore costing 16 ink from hand.

@@AlphosNZ yeah man, I'm well aware. I'm almost 47. I've learned chess at 5. I've played Magic off and on for 27 years. I've got a ton of experience in other card games, minis games, RTS, turn-based strategy/tactics, and on and on and on. The deck is cool. It should get better with time. It isn't currently a meta threat, in my opinion.
